 New Texas Chainsaw Movie Predictions? It's coming already? Wow. How fast time flies.
I have heard zip about this movie and it's already being released this fall?
So, what are your predictions for this one?
Um. I think $50 million. I don't think it will make as much as the first one. Why? Well, the first one was somewhere in the middle of audience approval and this won't have the same kind of Horror Epic like feeling.
The one released two years ago was sort of like Leatherface waving "I'm back." Love it or hate it, it was also well advertised.
Though anyone who knows horror knows he was already back in the form of a drag queen with some lipstick the last time we saw him in Texas 4. Though since no one saw that movie, no one probably knows of it's existance. I can't image ever seeing the image of Leatherface in lipstick, wielding a chainsaw running down a field again. Though it would be funny to see the mainstreams reaction.
Actually. No folks, not made up. For the vast majority of you who never saw that movie, that really happened.
Correction: 2006 release. Moved up from originally planned 2005 release. So, about a 1 1/2 years to go.

Your right.
It was moved up from 2005 to 2006 as pre-production just started. Just checked.
It was originally suppose to come this year, but won't ever be done in time. My mistake.
This is also a prequel to the remake, not original series folks. For those of you who don't know, but care to.

I would actually rather see a sequel to the remake with hottie Jessica Biel back than this, but I'll still see it.
Anyway, I actually saw TCM 4 and I thought it was entertaining  and would give it a 6/10 (C+).

I'm not even sure why it is we have to know how Leatherface became Leatherface if this is in fact what this Prequel is about.. I think I'll pass on this..

We don't need to know where Leatherface came from. We don't need to hear some story about abuse or some other nonsense. Too cliche.
Leatherface is Leatherface. Him just being is what makes him sinister or what used to. Oh well. Pull out the box of kleenex. I am sure they are going for a drama this time around.

Probably not, I'm sure that would make audiences confused or something. At least she'll be in THE HITCHER remake

Don't worry....theres a group of hot teens involved. So one of them is bound to be hot. Hell we got 4 out of 5 the last time! 
If released Halloween 2006....$60M.

I don't care why Leatherface became the way he is, but I am a fan of making it a prequel, just so we can have the whole family back. Namely R. Lee Ermy.

Like sending Jamie Lee Character to play a completely different character in Halloween. This after the character is established and we already know who she is.
