Post Release Pattern Travesties : A Very Long Engagement
http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=ver ... gement.htm

Ive had to shake my head in dissapproval one too many times at how many opportuinties have been wasted by studios to expose foreign and arthouse pictures, but end up squandered thanks to ridiculous release patterns
THIS IS ONE OF THEM
Its been out since November 26th, it blockbusted records across Europe on its release and its losing theaters now, ending its run it seems?

Fucking ridiculous.

Maybe they are intentionally burying the film so they can do their remake and "americanize" it. They do it all the time with asian films like Infernal Affairs. The less people who see the original, the more the americanized version makes
