Not sure if anyone here plays any of the EZ1 games and I apologize if this is the wrong place to post about them, but this site has three ongoing box office games that are a lot of fun and more challenging than the Box Office Derby (and possibly even HSX!)

The main game works in the same way in that you buy/sell "stocks" related to movies, although you're essentially buying them based on the first three weeks of box office. You only have a limited amount of money and you can buy/sell as much as you want before they halt (the night they open)...there are price changes based on # of purchases, theatre counts, box office predictions, etc...you can't short, so you obviously want to buy things you think are underpriced and will move up or make more than their price. You can sign up and check it out now...first price movements won't be until next Thursday (and it starts with the movies opening Friday)

The other games include Pick 5 where you have to pick the Top 5 with the box office, similar to Derby, except you get more points for getting the order correct than if your predictions are close. THat should have a new game soon.

Movieline is my favorite..you have 15 points to bet on 5 specific competitions between two movies with an over/under...ie if one movie makes more than its competitor but doesn't make the spread, you lose points. THat game is just wrapping up.
