Post Re: When We Were Young Fest
Riotfest in Chicago is the last big rock festival to be announced. I already have tickets though since I had such a good time at it last year (and its way cheaper than the others at ~$150 for 3 days), and they've sworn that My Chemical Romance will be there this year after being delayed for the last two lol.

Incubus announced a tour for ya! I dunno much about Michigan geography, but I'd assume that Clarkson is probably outside of Detroit? They are playing Cuyahoga Falls in Ohio which is about 40ish minutes south from downtown Cleveland. Sublime with Rome are the openers, whom I never seen (they conflicted with The Lawrence Arms at Riotfest last year.)

Also, I saw Spiritbox on Saturday! They opened for Underoath and were so good! Only a 30 minute set unfortunately, but they killed it on every song. Massive Wall of Death during the breakdown of Blessed Be. Underoath were really good too!

Korn/Evanescence announced a tour together. I don't Amy should be opening for anyone but it's a cool idea and I'll go see it.

Riotfest finally dropped their lineup!

I'm a little disappointed about no Paramore, Avril or Tenacious D. Thought all three would be there for sure. The headliners are very strong though and I also love how random it is. A Yellowcard reunion? Hell yeah! Yeah Yeah Yeahs don't seem to fit at all, but they are one of my favorites that I've never seen live. And there's alot of stuff on here that I'm not very familiar with, so there's a good chance the card becomes even more appealing.

Looks like the Blink 182 reunion will headline When We Were Young 2023. So they must be confident about this year going smoothly. Tickets are crazy cheap on resale markets right now but flight prices are pretty high.

Right? I'd have felt sick over spending so much money flying there, staying there, only for the reason to be canceled because of *wind*.

Not saying high winds should be taken lightly, and shows shouldn't be canceled over them, but it has to be among the "silliest" reasons.

We had to evacuate the last day on Sonic Temple 2019 because of high winds. Luckily, very luckily, the Foo Fighters were willing to wait around and start their set around 930-10ish when we were allowed back in.
