Why is Selena Gomez so successful? She's like a much duller Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato who sings much worse and has worse songs. Some of her songs are alright, like Come and Get It, Same Old Love, Good For You and Bad Liar, but they sound like songs any pop starlet could sing. She has no flavor or personality. Is it just cuz she's hot? Cuz I can't think of any other reason. |

The songs they give her have a market clearly, it may not be up your alley but considering how the billboard top 10 is these days, Selena may have more appeal to the people listening to mumble rap songs, in the club etc. than someone like Demi. As for why they chose Selena to give hits to, it's probably a combination of being attractive and she was famous/had a social media fanbase/etc. after Disney and Bieber relationship Bad Liar (her best song) was written by Selena I believe, which is an encouraging sign she may have some talent buried under all the songwriting teams and autotune. |

She's really hot and has a very seductive voice, kinda like early Britney. I like the Revival album a lot too. |
