Came here with the intention of making a thread called "Adele Returns" and posting the song.

And then I saw a thread with the title already exists.

And then I saw that it was from myself the last time this happened. :funny:

Song needs way way more energy. don't care for it.

Well the queen is back.

This song is a perfect "hello" to her new album her new era, her new persona. I am in love with this.

The song is fairly average and would make zero impact if anyone but Adele was singing it, but her voice is so good that it brings the song to a higher level. Would have liked it to be a bit better, but the song's still a win for me.

It's probably her worst lead single but her standard is really high (Hometown Glory, Rolling in the Deep, Hello) so it's still a good song.

It feels exciting to have a true modern star back releasing music instead of these Spotify playlist filler acts they keep trying to shove down people's throats.

This. I like it but it's her worst single. I am definitely looking forward to the album though.

Adele album is ok, songs are not catchy for the most part. May improve on second listen. Easy On Me is actually very radio friendly compared to many of the songs

Better than 25, but still just ok. At least she has a reason to be sad this time. Her fans should be pleased, but it's mostly just the same ole Adele. Would have liked some more songs like Can I Get It, which leans heavy into R&B rather than her usual Bubleish Showtunes.

I was really looking forward to the album. I've been listening to her others to tide me over until it was released. But on first listen I don't like it. Easy On Me is amazing compared to the others. I'd say maybe I'd like it more on repeat viewings but don't have the urge to listen to it again. Very disappointing.

First few tracks are fine, the middle tracks is a little meh, but the album ends strong with the last three songs which are probably some of her best work to date.

I don't really feel like Adele has put out a excellent album and this continues the trend. She has really great songs though. To Be Loved is pretty killer.

Then she just completely blows up in the final 3 songs, holy fuck what an iconic way to end an album

She forgot how to write memorable for half the track list. At some points her voice is unlistenable and sounds clearly damaged.
