If Pharrell releases "Come Get It Bae" that will be the next number one. Otherwise I'm not really seeing any other hits in the horizon. What are the summer jams this year?

Wow... i didnt expect a top 3 debut for problems. Pretty obvious but thats the next #1 song. Most of the top 10 is losing steam, specially the top 2. Pretty easy climb to the top.

"Problem" is actually really good. Ariana Grande really seems like the heir apparent to Mariah Carey.

If Magnus disagrees than Libs is naturally correct by default.

That Idina Menzel song is terrible. Heard it on the radio the other day. Yikes.

I mean, no one has Mimi's vocal range.

But Ariana Grande is probably the closest any pop starlet has come since. She has an incredibly strong singing voice and range if you pay attention.

Ariana Grande has a good voice but its to damn nassaly, its annoying. And she needs to stop with her "dance routines". Kindergardeners do better.

Ariana's baby doll styling is kinda creepy.

That is not what a 21-year-old should look like.

Ariana Grande has a full 4-octave vocal range (E3-E7) and can regularly hit the 7th-octave notes in her range (C7-E7). Besides Mariah Carey, among popular artists in recent years, only Christina Aguilera has hit notes that high (just barely at C7), and only in her early years on one or two occasions.

Mariah has hit notes a full octave lower than Ariana and has hit a couple notes higher than Ariana (up to G7), but their vocal ranges are fairly close.

Ariana has a long way to go. She needs to improve the resonance of her voice but she does have the instrument. I just don't think she has the "skill" to utilize her voice to achieve greater success beyond a few catchy hit songs.
