Post Grade That Band: Led Zeppelin
Don't you people think they are one of the greatest bands ever to grace mother earth? They can rock, they can do melody and hell they even did indo music! Memorable songs like Stairway to Heaven, Dazed & Confused, Kashmir and the Immigrant Song will be remembered for generations and generations to come. Might I add that StH will just about always be one of the greatest songs ever.

What do you think about them?

Jimmy Page is god. Only to Clapton and Hendrix of course.

30 minute Dazed and Confused renditions are yummy.

Heartbreaker makes me want to make sweet passionate love to him. But then I remember he's a man. And he's quite ugly. So I just take that out of my head.

How can anything beat Stairway to Heaven!?!?!? The only thing IMO that even comes close to its might would be Kashmir. And I'm talking about every single song out there! Those two songs are epics.

Ya, but Plant's voice sounds so off-tempo and out of tune in it. I like it, but for the build up, not for the lyrics or Plant's voice.

Still an amazing song on altogether. But Plant's voice was going downhill right when Houses of the Holy came out. It's pretty tough to get better then IV's vocals.

Yes, it sounds satanic in that ONE part, but also I do not think anyone would take the time to find forward lyrics that make sense, make sense backwards. You get me?

A lot of 70s bands did that. It was the drug induced thing to do.

Also I am not sure, but in the 70s it was very common or popular I guessto mention the devil in their songs. Are you saying that AC/DC is satanic.

Look at Deep Purple. They're right beside Led Zeppelin as he heavyweights of 70s rock and they did the same thing in some of their songs.

If any of you guys love kashmir for what it sounds like, youve heard nothing yet.

If you get the chance, try to find this live version of kashmir with an arabic (middleeastern twist) its a concert Led did in that region. Its mind blowing.
actually, if you can get your hands on that whole album, you'll be blown away.

On the greatest hits album, if you put the 2nd cd in your computer you can watch a video of kashmir. It's mindblowing.

Do by any change you have it? I like middle eastern due to my backround, and I would love to listen to it.

On your greatest hits cd's that you just bought, put in the latter years into your computer and you can watch a live video of kashmir.
