First of all, at no point have I ever thought that Starbucks lovers was in the song. Second of all, what the hell would "All the lonely Starbucks lovers" even mean?

Got a long list of ex-lovers is catchy enough and makes more sense within the context of the song.

Agreed - I can barely even hear "a lonely starbucks lovers" as it gets automatically chucked out of the possibilities in my head due to the plural contradiction it would take to even say that.

I am so bad when it comes to paying attention to lyrics, so I tend to be guided by phonetic approximation devoid of any context, which resulted in a habit I picked up of just stringing together nonsense words that made zero sense but like really kinda sounded like what the actual lyrics did (in my mind).

It is probably why I have never really been one to care all that much about lyrics in music. Good lyrics can make a good song better, IMO, but they'll never make a bad song good in my book. Contrast that with the wealth of examples you could cite for songs that are hella awesome even in spite of godawful lyrics.

Speaking of which, Bad Blood is gonna be a third smash for the era.

I love I Wish You Would too but for some reason it was one of the lowest charting songs on iTunes when 1989 first came out.

I don't get why they took out Taylor's verses and added 2 for Kendrick. Bizarre. The video should get massive streaming points but it's nothing more than seeing Taylor and her friends look pretty.What a waste of getting so many people together.
