Nice guy.. The short end of it is, is that the Sheraton where I work is hosting a "Horror-Con" subtitled "CONTAMINATION 2011" and CANDYMAN himself was a guest host signing autographs and whatnot.. At first I didn't notice him when I was behind the bar until he tuend around and that look was unmistakable.. After that, I was clearing everyone out cause it was 1:30 am and I stepped in and shook his hand.. Quite a humble guy with an accent and tall as well, about 6'5 give or take.. He was visiting some fans who were also drinking while he was having what looked like a scotch on the rocks.. I think he's here again tonight.. If I get a chance, anything you want me to ask him??? :-k

Why didn't he take his distracting earring out for Final Destination 5? :P

It's been a long weekend and the Horror-Comic-Con was a big success.. I talked briefly with Tony Todd since he was once again with a bunch of people coming from the Don King Boxing Match from the Family Arena and he said there will be a CANDYMAN reboot at some point, but whether or not they use him is another story.. Remember how they used a different actor to play PINHEAD in a recent installment of the HELLRAISER series and it tanked.. By the way, the big fight was fixed from the getgo.. You don't get knocked down in the 4th round to come back and win a judges decision after your opponent beat you senseless.. :funny:

Also, they had the cast of the Roger Corman version of The FANTASTIC FOUR with Roger Corman and the cast present while we watched the "Never before Unseen Version" of this over legal rights and it looked better than the 2005 version, at least acting wise.. Too bad you'll never see this unless the guy buys it back..
