So the Rep from NY finally came clean today. Right now in fact. I'm just more annoyed that he's not resigning while the Republican Congressman resigned. Now, I don't think either guy should have or should resign over this. We can't get presidents out of office for actually compromising themselves while in office but that's another issue.

Point is it's only logical that he resign when Lee resigned over something far less trivial. Weiners actions have gone on for years as he just admitted. Oh well, what more can one expect from career politicians other than holding on to office regardless of what happens.

Extremely subjective debate, but I'd argue that some of the most "moral leaders" during "moral times" or of "moral platforms" were/are some of the worst. As long as there has been politicians, there has been corrupt politicians - in every society and time.

I'm almost inclined to believe that in today's society we have less corruption just because reporting and technology have evolved. Back in the olden days reporters turned a blind eye to many things and it was easier to deny corruption with no electronic trail.

The crazy thing is how he won't resign. Sorry, even if it wasn't illegal, it was over the line. And now, there is no way that he will be able to serve the public, while he is being treated. And yup, his poor pregnant wife, must be having a horrible time with this.
