Moto GP 07 - Same old Moto GP. I can't spot a difference between 06 and 07.
NHL 07 - Sucks in comparison to NHL 2K7, but semi-playable.
Pirates of the Caribbean - Looks pretty, but standard movie fare in the gameplay department.
GRAW - I finally decided to try the first one. Squad based war shooter =

None are great, but they should be an easy 1500-2500 points.

Thats alot of games right there,Demandred. I didnt know which ones I want to play since they didnt interest me one bit or that their demos are bad. I think I'll be skipping most of them except for Lost Odyseyy. I might give Burnout a try too even though racing games arent my taste. Thanks!

Destoy All Humans:Big Willy (wii)
B/B-
When the first DAH came out on the PS2, I bought it because I like the original concept but ended up being disappointed with the game controls and poor graphics. DAH:BW however improves on the first game alot, is alot more open ended and just as funny. The graphics still do suck though and while I did mention they improved the game play alot, I still think that if it was done by the right company like Rock Star it would be more enjoyable. My other complaint is that the Wii controls once again hinders the gameplay alot since its not as responsive as I think and turning around in 180 and 360 angles are a pain and resets the controllers back to the corner. Just like Overlord, the camera angles suck and it could have been improved with more missions

Nevertheless, the game is enjoyable since you can either vaporize, anal probe, zombiefy and adbuct all humans plus I like the sandbox format. The 70s setting is awesome too. Hopefully the 360 unrelated sequel would be better

Got Bully:Scholership Edition for the 360 in the mail. Pretty much the same content as the PS2 version a year and a half ago with maybe a few more class sessions that you have to attend and probably 5 extra missions. The graphics have been vastly improved from the PS2 version where its much less washed out and more refined. Its not like Bioshock or Assasins Creed good graphics but at least its in par with Dead Rising. Pretty much for those who havent played Bully and is afraid it would be a straight port, your worries are out the window and you should definately get it. But for those who have tried it already on the PS2, its not really worth the money because the story is pretty much the same with a few extra content.

I might get Bully next... I desperately need a newer game. I'll definitely be getting either Bully, Burnout, or Mass Effect this weekend... that should help hold me over until GTA IV comes out.

My friend and I just played through Kirby 64. It's the first game I've completed other than Sly 2 and 3 and Mario Sunshine in like 4 years. And it's fantastic. Why didn't Kriby have a decent Gamecube game?

I ended up going with Bully.

The first thing I noticed is that if these are the improved graphics, I shudder to think what the PS2's graphics looked like! :whaa: The cutscenes are ugly and jerky. The general game graphics are also slightly jerky with some screen tearing evident at times. Some background items look like they were rendered for the N64. It's right up there as one of the uglier 360 games... it's more like a nice looking Xbox 1 game. Which means it's definitely playable... just don't buy the hype on the back of the box that shouts "improved graphics!"... it's misleading.

The core gameplay is very GTA-ish so far, which is good. I like that you have to make it to class on time and do classroom activities in between doing missions.

My one real beef so far, is that I'm not sure I like any of the characters. They're not cool anti-heroes like the GTA games have... it's a bunch of snot nosed little kids that you want to smack, including the lead character. That was my one main fear of the game, and so far it appears to be a valid one.

Still... all in all it's going to be fun, if only for the fact it'll be a halfway decent looking GTA fix (when compared to the PS2 games).

There was Kirby's Air Ride (racing/mini game hybrid thing). I thought it was pretty fun (could have been better of course), and the whole stat and list of things to do reminded me alot of Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's also an early example of Nintendo testing games that only require you to use a single button to do everything. In Kirby Air Ride you only use the A button, and it works decently. The mini-game type missions were fun. But yeah, Kirby needs a new 3-D adventure game like Kirby 64 and something like his last few DS games. I'm sure there'll be one eventually.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn: 9/10

Finally beat this last night. It's a near 50 hour game! :D Love those. Anyway, I love RPG's, so I was always going to love this, especially since I loved the Gameboy Fire Emblem games. It's hard, quite hard. But thank god it is, because I need a challenging game every now and then, and Radiant Dawn isn't short on tough challenges. A few things I didn't like: You can't keep the same party the entire game. Instead you have a new party for the different parts of the game (4 parts), until Part 4 when they are all on your side. I like it when I can keep the same characters and level them up as I please, make them my own. Not a major grip since it's not much of a problem, but I'd prefer to have all the characters and keep them the entire time I play the game. The story, while good, is very complex and difficult to understand. Again, not a huge problem, and I'm sure I had a tough time with some of it because I missed out on the Gamecube Fire Emblem, since Radiant Dawn is a sequel, but you don't have to know anything about the past Fire Emblem games to play or understand it fully. So minor complaints really. And I can't wait for the first DS Fire Emblem game soon.

Biohazard: The Umbrella Chronicles
I had fun with this game. It's nothing more than an arcade-style shooter like House of the Dead, but it was fun and exciting at times. As a huge pre-RE4 Biohazard fan, I was more than satisfied when I rented this Friday. It's basically a condensed, FPS version of BHZero, BH1, BH3 and an all-new, never before seen locale showing the last battle against Umbrella, but it's nearly non-stop action from beginning to end, which kept it exciting. About the only drawback is that I beat it in about 3 and a half hours. I wouldn't buy it at the price of $50, but certainly when it drops to $30/$20 it'll be worth buying to add to my collection. But 3 hours is honestly the time it takes me to beat any of the Biohazard titles these days, having had plently of experience playing them.

It makes me sad, however, to think that we could've had an entire game based on the final location in the game, which had Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield storming an Umbrella factory in Russia. That's the game pretty much every Biohazard fan desperately wanted after BH3: Nemesis and BH: CODE: Veronica, a fitting end to the Umbrella saga and the overall series, but instead Capcom decided to completely change the series with RE4, and so all we get of the game we so badly wanted is a 25 minute long segment at the end of BH: The Umbrella Chronicles.

sucks for me is that Bully seems to stop working for me because I think Rockstar sold a defected cd to people. I couldnt even start the game all over and looks like my x-box caused some stratched to the cd. I could wait since Ive already finished the game on the PS2 but still

Army of Two - B
Nowhere near as good as Gears of War but much, much, much better than Kane and Lynch.
Co-op is a lot fun as expected. Too bad the multiplayer sucks ass.

Fifa Street 3 - C-
Never played one of these before so it was kinda interesting...for 5 games.

It is definitely a glitchy game... it has frozen up at least 5 times now in about 8 hours of gameplay. Supposedly they've got a patch coming out to fix it. I just save it often, and so far I haven't lost too much.

It's growing on me a bit... definitely an addictive game... it keeps you going with the "just one more class/mission/job" mentality.

One thing that bugs the hell out of me is the control when using the camera... if you turn the camera while running, the character will go the opposite direction you think he should. Oh, and shop class... WTF!... I've completed almost all the classes, but can't do shop for the life of me.

So what are you going to do about that "over the rainbow" achievement?

I saw that one! :funny:

I don't know how to get a guy to kiss me, although to be honest, I haven't tried much. I'm not even that good at getting the ladies to kiss me, but that could be because I'm running around wearing the funky outfits... the alien, the ninja costume... and everyone laughs at me.

For the shop class what I do is start turning the left analog stick clockwise direction before they tell you to start. Make sure its the right direction because the flashing diagram goes too fast and you think its clockwise but its counterclock wise. I still had trouble with the last class for biology but will continue it once I get a new cd in the mail from gamefly. I sort of pulled a Chris Farley Tommy Boy gas station on them when I returned the game. "WHAT DID YOU DO?(to the game cd you sent to my home address"

The muscle t-shirt and the clown costume that I won in the fair are my favorites

The last Biology one was a bitch... it kept going and going, but I did get it with just a couple seconds left on the clock the first time I tried.

Thanks for the shop tips... I did what you said and finally manage to do shop 1. It did help to start before they flashed it.

So, I download the new Bully patch which is supposed to fix the freezing issues... a couple hours in and the fucker freezes on me. Plus now the music will skip here and there.

Dear god this game is glitchy. I hope Rockstar has their A-team working on GTA IV so we don't have these similar issues.

I was very interested in getting Bully till I read about all the problems. Did their patch improve most of the problems, at least?
