6. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - 10

-What a fantastic book! Even better than The Martian and Artemis. Probably my favorite thing I've read since finishing The Passage trilogy a few years ago.

I'm not sure I like the choice of Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace for the movie though. Damon was perfect for Mark Wattany as he can believably be a brilliant scientist while also being a comical everyman. We shall see whether or not it works when the movie is released next year.
