What's with sports fans (of the NFL, especially) largely only supporting the winning teams (sometimes singular)? I've known many friends and family members over the years who basically just support the most successful teams, but when they have a bad season or two, they consider them trash and move onto the next team likely to reach the SuperBowl. There just seems to be next to little/no loyalty and paper-thin support among many fans. Mostly bring this question up since I saw a lot of people tweeting "they've had it", "no longer a fan", "never watching them on TV again" regarding the Chiefs now. I even saw one person go on about "how it's been a good run, but our days are over." Uhh... your favorite team could (likely will) become successful again. And I know a few Cowboys fans from way back who have since hated them for years, but even though they're having a good season, they're even more annoyed/pissed off at them. |

There has always been bandwagoners, but I think those people are in the minority on the whole, someone quitting Chiefs after 2 months when they have the new face of the sport would be pretty ridiculous. In the NBA since star players are switching teams so often, I think there is a culture of people switching teams whenever they do |
