Re: NFL thread - 2023 season
It's a good thing the Niners have Montana and Young in their history because they're putting together quite the run of heartbreak here. Very Bills-esque except spread out over the course of a decade.
Now there have been two overtimes in the Super Bowl. Kyle Shanahan now has the unfortunate distinction of being the proud owner of both of the losses.

Re: NFL thread - 2023 season
Mahomes has now passed Montana as my #2 QB of all-time, IMHO. He's won 3 SB in his first 7 seasons. Made it to 4 SB in 7 seasons. MVP of the league twice and MVP of all 3 SB. his 3rd comeback win in the SUPER BOWL! hats off to him

Never bet against Mahomes! Clutch two drives there at the end. I would argue the most clutch ending for a quarterback ever.

Re: NFL thread - 2023 season
Was cheering against the Chiefs, but classic game! 49ers needed to run down the clock and win at the end of regulation, any scenario giving it back to Mahomes felt like he was tying or winning. Only leading at 7 points at half also seemed too low considering they were clearly outplaying them. 49ers are now the Malone/Stockton Jazz.

Ever since losing a 28-3 lead against the Pats, Shanahan has been snack bitten
