Mariota will probably be the #1 pick and could be a great pro QB. I think he is much better than Winston. He is a sure better person.

I think Winston will fail under pressure. The kid is a thug who will probably do something horrible one day like Ray Rice or Michael Vick.

I think that will be the only thing to bring Winston down. He's got a little Ryan Leaf in him. But he's probably the most pro-ready QB.

Even though the 4-team playoff still leaves a lot to debate, there is no question that it's infinitely better than BCS. In BCS age, we would have gotten Alabama (best computer number in the supposedly "best" league) vs. FSU (undefeated defending champion) as the title game.

TCU still got screwed. We still need a 8 team playoff where every power conference gets at least one team.

I would have liked the BCS still in place but you take the playoff teams from their rankings. Then you will still have the chance if getting a Boise st / BYU / utah&tcu (pre power) in the top 4 or 8. Right now those teams have no chance in this selection committee stuff. Plus, the BCS champ had a better trophy.

Boise State and Utah both had their chance to make a statement, and they lost. Boise got destroyed by Ole Miss and Utah lost to Oregon.

Teams outside of the power 5 need to schedule better/tougher as well.
