It is not. But I'm hoping Michigan won't fall off too much without Burke.

Welp...
Michigan has struggled this season. Losing all but one of their "big" games so far. And now McGary is out indefinitely due to back surgery.
2013 needs to end.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
KU is having a shitty year thus far despite coming out of the gates strong with an impressive win over Duke. Our defense is just not clicking.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Kansas has so far looked vastly different to open the BIG XII season. Very impressive thus far, but they also opened impressive against Duke, so I am keeping my optimism in check once again. Needless to say besides the abundance of turnovers tonight, impressive win against Iowa State.
What's the update up north in Michigan Chippy?

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Michigan isn't nearly as good as last year, and our freshman PG has been struggling. But our freshman winger has been playing well. Should be a solid tournament team if they can make it through the B1G schedule.
The season really comes down to how well Robinson III and Stauskas play. Especially with McGary being out.

Crazy night of college hoops. Did anyone watch that wild Kentucky Arkansas game?

I missed it. But I was shocked to see Indiana upset Wisconsin.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Arkansas beat Kentucky is one of the wildest season games I've seen since the legendary Missouri vs. Kansas game of 2012.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Rugged game in Lawrence today. These Jayhawks seem like a passionate team, much like they were in 2012, but this year they have more talent. It's hard to predict them though because they are so inconsistent and inexperienced, but I could see the Hawks going to the national title easily this year.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Two things to note tonight:
Kansas is the the first team to beat four ranked teams in a row since North Carolina in 1997. Rock Chalk
Also, and even more impressive, Creighton tops Villanova by thirty points! They started the game with ten three point shots in a row. Let me repeat that so it can sink in. THEY MADE TEN THREE POINT SHOTS IN A ROW. Their first ten point FG was not until 10 minutes into the game. Crazy!

Ohio State has fallen off a cliff over the past two weeks. Astonishing.

Michigan seems to be mounting a streak of their own, thoughts going into their big game against Izzo Chip?

What's up with Wiggins? I was expecting him to be more dominating. There are still lots of games to be played, but he is reminding me less and less of Tracy McGrady.

I have no idea how they're doing it, but Michigan is just imposing THEIR game on other teams. But last year, Michigan State absolutely throttled them at home last season. I don't think that will happen again, but I would be shocked if Michigan beat Michigan State at home. Michigan would need to make 60% of their 3's.

The draft is deep but a little overhyped at the top. I think Oden, Rose, Griffin, Wall and Davis in their draft years would go 1st over these guys. Parker and Embiid are non elite athletes, Wiggins is non elite skill and Randle has non elite size so there's a little reason to pick at all of them. Embiid goes 1st IMO

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Embiid will be the next Hakeem Olijuwan, calling it now. Ironic how he is turning out to be the best player.
Also calling it now, Wiggins will stay for another year.

I don't think he will. And I don't think he should.
This is coming from someone who hasn't seen him play at all.

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
It helped that State was missing their two "best" players. But that game was pretty awesome. And being undefeated in the B1G is a pretty damn good accomplishment. Hope Michigan can keep it up!

 Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
More crazy college basketball tonight. Kansas electrifies Iowa State despite the Cyclones playing at their best. Down goes Wisconsion and Ohio State. Is anyone surprised? I mean Ohio State has become the Baylor of the Big 10. And Arizona squeaks by with another close win.
