Boy does Oregon look bad so far.

The South Carolina v. NC State game was a real snoozer.

I picked Texas. USC has a freshman qb and Florida will be too beat up in the SEC. Oklahoma is overrated.

It's hard to go against Florida because they just need to win the SEC and even with 1 loss they'd probably still get in the NC game. In addition, they are returning all the defensive starters and of course have the most angelic QB to play college football. If he wins another heisman and/or another national title there wouldn't be any contest.

However, my choice is Oklahoma. I'm a fan of course and have had hopes crushed going on a few years now, but the team is as powerful offensively as it was last year even though the offensive line is weakened and the defense probably decent rather than good. The schedule strength will help and they only have three hurdles. Texas, Texas Tech and a possible matchup with either a 1 loss or undefeated Oklahoma State. Run the table and they are in and there's NO WAY Oklahoma is gonna lose this time. No way...

PSU is the most over-rated team in college football.

I think Alabama is the most overrated. Greg McElroy has never played a college game. I am sure he will be good, but, at least recently, Alabama has had mediocre qb play. John Parker Wilson and Brodie Croyle were average at best and I don't see why McElroy would do any better than them at this point.

Both of Bama's lines are great. They have a butt load of RB's and a butt load of receivers. They should stay in the Top 15 all year, at the lowest.

Blount is out for the whole season. I didn't expect that. Maybe a four or five game suspension but the whole year. That's a bummer for Oregon. Looks like their whole season could be ruined unless another RB can step up.
