As the season nears, heres my call for Heisman:

RUNNING BACK, FROM CALIFORNIA, JAHVID BEST

From an offensive stand point, this guy is the most electrifying player I have seen since Bush, and that includes guys like Darren McFadden, Slaton in 06, Calvin, ect. This guys tape is just off the fucking charts. He is a clone of Reggie Bush. The numbers are breathe taking- 1580 yards on under 200 carries, good for a jaw-dropping 8.1 ypc over an entire season. 15 Touchdowns and a over a dozen runs of 50 yards or more. And he is a hell of reciever.

Psh, last 2 years I picked darkhorses in Mike Hart and Noel Devine; Best is getting tons fo shine. Whose your guy?

Though I think preseason, Bryant is the best prospect in the country film-wise (Bryant is the best wide reciever pospect I think Ive ever followed; incredibly polished with awesome phyical ability), I see Best becoming a super star; the buzz surrounding him will be defeaning when his team enters top 3.

i dont think anyone would argue they were darkhorses at the beginning of the years you picked them. They were on the lists but failed, badly

The App. State loss KILLED Hart... but he did not fail badly. He was injured towards the end and still was in "contention"

Well well well I was extremely impressed with his performance. 5TDs from a RB and these weren't just 1 yard runs into the end zone.

I think he's planted himself a ticket to NY for now.

McKnight will get an invite if USC goes undefeated, as he will have carried the offense.

If the Hurricanes QB starts putting up big numbers (passing & running) and the Canes go undefeated he could be a Heisman canidate.

they used to invite 4 a few years back but the past two years they've only invited 3 because it was obvious it would be one of those 3
