Now, it's time for the NHL Pick'Em Playoffs!
The playoffs will span the next 2 and a half weeks, unfortunately crimped by the server malfunction and admittedly poor planning. Here's the system:
There will be 3 rounds. Going by the final seedings of 1. Jmart007, 2. Shack, 3. trixster, 4. MikeQ., 5. Rev, well... nothing! The regular season rankings don't matter for the playoffs, this is a new and level playing field. That's not to take anything away from the regular season awards, they are a seperate entity.
Here's how it's going to work:
The first round will be on Saturday, April 4th, where all 5 players will predict. This will be the SUDDEN DEATH opening round. Meaning, the player who finishes last will be eliminated automatically, then the remaining 4 will be seeded according to their finishes.
The second round will span Sunday, April 5th, Monday, April 6th, Tuesday, April 7th, and Wednesday, April 8th. The 1st seed will play the 4th, the 2nd will play the 3rd. The winners will then advance to the finals.
The finals will span Thursday, April 9th, Friday, April 10th, Saturday, April 11th, and Sunday, April 12th, the final day of the regular season.

Well just wait, I haven't revealed the twist yet. Ok, here it is. You will be predicting every game in the week and a half playoffs off the bat and now. If you're eliminated early then they'll simply be regarded as meaningless. Well then, without further ado, here is your Games to Predict list of DOOM.

Who will win the Northwest division, Calgary or Vancouver/Who will finish lower, Toronto or Ottawa? *each worth .5 points*
Who wins the "Hedman cup" and finishes 2nd last, Tampa Bay or Colorado?/True or false, Boston will finish with twice as many points as the Islanders *each worth .5 points*
Seed the 4 West and 4 East playoff matchups.
West

Every correct seeding is worth .25 points. A 100% correct match-up is worth .75.
East

Tiebreaker:
Combined total of Malkin, Ovechkin, Crosby's points, PLUS the difference between Malkin and Ovechkin's points, PLUS the difference between Ovechkin and Crosby's points, DIVIDED BY Steve Mason's GAA, MULTIPLYED BY Tim Thomas' Save %.
Well that's it, good luck and remember to appoint yourself enough time! Aside from the NY game, the predictions are due on Saturday night at 7 ET. Though as all the games on Saturday are so important, you don't want to forget that one either.
