http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/f ... index.html After looking like we (University of Oregon) were out of it as recently as LAST NIGHT, Pryor's decision today to not sign a LOI leaves us still very much in the running. I think if we can get him out here it'll be hard for him to say no. Big Poppa Phil Knight didn't pour millions upon millions of dollars into Auzten and the facilities so program-changing five star prospects would say no. Word is Chip Kelly (our offensive coordinator) has done an amazing job selling Pryor on the idea of becoming a four year Dennis Dixon in his system. Other schools in the running are Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. All are appealing, high-end schools, but I'd like to think UofO offers something unique. Like I said, we get him out here for a weekend and we have a real shot. |

Michigan is by FAR and away his best option. As he WOULD be the #1 guy the moment he steps foot on campus. And he gets a KILLER O-line. And some top flight receiving prospects. |
