The Colts may have played teams with better records... But every team that the Colts have beaten have been TERRIBLE offenses. The Patriots have played San Diego, Cincy, Cleveland, and Dallas... All GREAT offenses, yet only give up about 17 PPG. |

Jets Seattle at Cleveland Houston at Oakland New England at Indianapolis Dallas at Philadelphia Monday, Nov. 5 Baltimore at Pittsburgh For now i am going with the Colts upseting the Patriots. It seems like the Pats haven't faced anyone remotely close to their playing level so far. Once they realize that the Colts are close to, if not as good as them, it will get them nervous. If they can somehow get Brady uneasy or threatened, the Colts defense and Manning on offense will get the job done. ![]() |

As a matter of fact, they're entering the game with the mindset that the Colts are better than them because they beat them last year. It's the right mindset to go into the game with. If they go in thinking they're the gods of the NFL, they're going to get smacked around. The Patriots have never entered into a game thinking like that though. |

If only I hadn't missed the one week I'd be able to compete for the #1 spot. |

But, are the "Patriots" thinking that, or is it just Bellichk and maybe Brady thinking that. I don't think everyone on the team has the feeling that the Colts are the better team. We are talking about the male ego here. The Pats have been hyped up to no end, which has got to have given the players the feeling of being godly. Their coach can only say what he thinks not the entire team. If something starts to go wrong for the Patriots, I think they are not going to be able to get it back together again. Patriots have the biggest game of their careers to loose, whereas the Colts have just another game into the playoffs to win or loose. |

You obviously haven't been following football for the past 6 or so years then Ron... If you think the Patriots think they're better than everyone, you're sorely mistaken. They probably didn't even think they were the best when they won each SB. |

Ron Burgundy wrote: ok, soooo true. But, are the "Patriots" thinking that, or is it just Bellichk and maybe Brady thinking that. They're all thinking that. Belichick has got everyone drinking the kool-aid up here. Quote: I don't think everyone on the team has the feeling that the Colts are the better team. This is where things begin to get a little sketchy. I think the Patriots believe that they are just as good as the Colts. I just think that Belichick is beating them down with what happened in the AFC game last year and the previous two outings before that. The Colts have had the Patriots number recently, and I think even though everyone on the team is sure they can beat the Colts, they're not going to walk in like a team that just anihillated another team 52-7. They've already forgotten about the Redskins. Quote: We are talking about the male ego here. The Pats have been hyped up to no end, which has got to have given the players the feeling of being godly. Their coach can only say what he thinks not the entire team. I honestly think Belichick has got them so brainwahsed to the point where they barely care or listen to what other people say about them. Quote: If something starts to go wrong for the Patriots, I think they are not going to be able to get it back together again. Why? What about this team so far has even given you the idea that this might happened. And don't say the AFC Championship game last year, because these are two completely different teams. And yes I know this contradicts what I said about Belichick before, but he won't seperate the two (Patriots) teams. He's going to make everyone who wasn't there feel like they were. Quote: Patriots have the biggest game of their careers to loose, whereas the Colts have just another game into the playoffs to win or loose. What? Being a little over dramatic there aren't we? The biggest game of their careers? No, that'd be the Super Bowl. |

I don't think Moss is thinking that. 8 games with a new team isn't enough to change a person. |

No I have and Moss has consistently been a clubhouse cancer every year. I mean he's fine now that he's getting the ball and winning, but if that ever changes he won't complain because Bellicheck is watching him. |

New England is in the Top 5 in defense against the run AND pass. Indy is only in the Top 5 against the pass. Their run defense is improved... but they still give up more than 100 per game. |
