Michelle Kwan had fretted about being able to win even one title when she was barely a teen. Now 24, she has a remarkable nine, her place in history secure with a run at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships as impressive for its longevity as its dominance. \:D/
The title was Kwan's eighth straight, extending her own record. She's also a five-time world champion, and has silver and bronze medals from the Olympics. The only hole in her impressive resume is Olympic gold, but the 2006 Games are only a year away.

it's just too bad she hasn't won a gold medal in the olympics. :-s
