I believe this is Angelo's first time slapping a franchise tag on a player? If so I don't think he'll be doing it again anytime soon. :funny:

The Bears are a mess of an organization, I honestly don't think they will trade the guy. Rather just retain his rights for a year. Crazy.

Sometimes I hate professional athletes. What it must be like to feel like making $7.2 million a year isn't a fair deal and that you'd rather go on strike than settle for that paltry sum. Idiots.

Fairness in pay is mostly relative, having to do mostly with supply and demand. Briggs is missing out on a much bigger payday because of the franchise tag and he's probably complaining because he thinks that Chicago won't give him a "fair" contract.
