To me it's still Maradona. Such a big fan of Van Basten, who would've been considered one of the few best forwards ever if injury hadn't derailed him. I still remembered the time he scored 4 goals a game with ease in Series A and Championship League. That was one cool AC Milan team. |

Best ever...my vote also goes to Maradona. Sadly, haven't seen much of Pele. |

Eagle wrote: We need more love for Ronaldinio Indeed the man has some impressive skills. the goal he scored against Chelsea in last years Champions League was an example of something from nothing. |

Please, Pele is so overrated and overhyped. Saying Pele is the best soccer player ever is like saying Cal Ripkin is the best Baseball player ever. |

Too hard to name the greatest ever, but easier to name the greatest of the last decade or so, Henry Ronaldinho end of list. |

Serious. There's never been a midfield general that could bully a game like him. |

I dont think you have seen too much of Henry play then. . . . the guy is a genious. Best player in the world I think. Who would you have put ahead of him? Etoo? |

He always had a bit of fire about him then especially compared to the spotty season he's had at Spurs. As for Keane if he had been from one of the big footballing nations he would have been lauded far more. |

Davids played well until christmas, after he got injured he didnt really get back into form, and played pretty shockingly on some occassions. As for Keane, I agree if he was English he would have probably had much more status worldwide than he had. The same could have been said for Giggs, the best left winger I've ever seen. |
