Post Boys Playing Girl Sports
You know when guys play on girls' field hockey and volleyball. What's your opinion on it?

Personally, if a girl can play on a guys team than I believe a guy should be allowed to play on a girls team. There seems to be a double standard with everything involving women sports. They want to play guys sports to get more recognition but then won't turn around and let men play girls sports because they're too "strong." With field hockey it is extremely ludicrous to make this arguement, as many girls are actually better than boys at it.

And I heard the arguement that boys have more muscles and are bigger than girls meaning they can get hurt more easily. Well isn't it easier for a girl to get hurt playing against an all boy team than if your a girl playing against one guy on a girls team. If you use that arguement then you should agree that all sport teams should be seperated by gender.

meh... we have mixed field hockey teams over here, and all male teams. actually to my annoyance the male teams get more recognition especially at the olympics and stuff. but girls are better at it!!!

guys playing netball on the othe hand.... thats just silly! netballs a girly game.

I play on a mixed inline hockey team, i don't get injured any more than the guys do. but you wear protective equipment and its no checking... supposedly.

i think you should separate men and women in sports that are quite physical i.e. rugby or football (the american kind)
but otherwise its all good. coz you separate ages for the same reason.

my brother is 17 and got called up to the the adult rugby team, (even though he was suppose to be 18) anway he got pretty beaten up and a nasty black eye. saying that though in the under 18s game one of his friends had to have facial reconstructive surgery playing against people his own age.

so in conclusion... its swings and roundabouts...
