I'm also tempted to say this is the greatest playoff series ever, but unless one of these two teams goes on to the title, this will probably be relegated to the great first round playoff series ever for any sports. The intensity, the underlying theme of an aging champion desperately trying to hold off a upstart, the quality of the play, the duel between individual players, unsurpassable.

Sorry I can't watch the game live right now (really pissed about this), but why shooting so fast when you only need to hold onto the ball and wait for the foul, even if it may appear to be an easy layup?

The games in the finals are bound to be more memorable, when they're played well like the Celtics/Lakers and Jordan's game clinchers, but this is as good as it gets for a non-final game.

As for my Rockets game, what was the constant talk on Blazers' superior depth about? They're basically a two-man team in this series.

That. Was. Orgasmic.

The 3rd OT... Noah's steal, Kirk's miss, Rose's block... epic

Noah is a pimp

I actually like the Bulls in Game 7. They survived with Gorden only playing 31 minutes of the possible 63, while Boston's big three all played over 50 mins, and now comes a short turnaround.

in other news... bye Portland. Rockets making the 2nd round without Tmac = awesome. Go Yao

Portland definitely reminds me of the Raptors two years ago. Too young to win on the road, when the first game was stolen from the jitters it was over. Plus the depth, the main strength of the team, just didn't translate in the playoffs

I think Rondo gets suspended for Game 7 and Allen has a hot streak but bulls pull off another overtime win on a gordon 3 pointer.

fresh smesh; if rondo can get his nakle healed so he can attack the basket and ray can stay on fire and paul can have 1 good game of the series we a win.

However I go with my gut on literally everything and it is saying chicagos got this,. damn, that blows :disgust:

blazers have a young team. I guess pressure got to them. Plus rockets pummeling them early in game 1 was demoralizing.

Anyway this proves T-mac is cursed. Rockets should get rid off him this season.

Anyway I dont see lakers needing more than 5 games to beat the rockets.

I cant believe rondo was that stupid. Dwight just got suspended couple of days back and he barely escaped getting one.

Celts still have firepower. Both Pierce/Allen could win the game on their own. Hopefully it will be another epic game.

I think Rockets will push Lakers to 6 games, like they did 5 years ago in the first round. They were swept in the regular season, but all the games were close.

I think this laker team is better. If I am not wrong that was the year Shaq/Kobe relationship was pits plus kobe had a huge distraction.

Lakers did not even play well against utah. They just did enough to win. With rockets I expect them to play better.
