Feel really sad for Ghana. They deserved to win the game, not just because what happened in the last seconds, but they played well for the whole match.

Now Holland may be getting all the backing of African fans.

The smartest red-card ever? Given the stage, the time, the result, can't think of another one.

You mean smart as in perceptive of the referee? I have to admit, I was so caught up in what was happening that I didn't even see the handball. God job from the ref for seeing it.

I agree. I feel bad for Gyan more than team Ghana. Missing that penalty kick at the last second costed Ghana and Gyan knows that ...You could see how disappointed he was and he couldn't stop crying.

But in the semis I'm for Holland.

In term of Uruguay's player. I know it's all instinct at that point, and he would have done the same thing whether it's start of the game or the end, but the result is he saved Uruguay.

I wish fucking suarez (who touched the ball) wasn't standing in the goal area. That way Ghana would have actually scored the 2nd goal and advanced to semis.

Well, I also hope Uruguay loses next match,as I favor Holland, but I don't mind if they reach the final.

Paraguay must be the most uninspiring quarterfinalist I could remember in a long time. Do they even want to score a goal?
