Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
that OF screwed up, first he didn't hustle to make the play. He should have played it off the wall because he wouldn't have allowed the tying run to score.

What a game, what a series. Not necessarily always well played, but the intensity, all the ebb and flow, making this a World Series to remember.

Don't blame him when your closer couldn't find the strike zone and then gave up a screamer. It may not all matter in the end anyway.

The closer did make a bad pitch, but Hamilton has probably saved it for the Rangers. The Cardinals are probably screwed with the pitcher coming up and no bench players left.

Hey don't get me wrong the blame is totally on the closer but Cruz could've had a better jump on the ball or at least played it off the wall.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
Thought the final night of this regular season couldn't be beaten, but I was wrong. This is now the most insane night ever. Reminding me of the 1995 Mariners/Yankees Game 5 where Mariners just kept coming back.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
Excluding the two Red Sox wins (bias aside), that was easily the best World Series game I've ever seen.
Tomorrow is going to be interesting. The Cardinals are either going to be the new 1975 Red Sox or the new 1986 Mets.

Wow, what a game. The best game 6 since 2002.
Natale Feliz is now turning into their version of Donnie Moore.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
The Cardinals simply fucking RULE and St.Louis is truly enjoying this one.. Good business for us tonight.. Rarely do teams lose it on the last game at home in the World Series which is why I think the Cardinals have this in the bag....

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
I wouldn't put blame on one person either. Cardinals, after all, left their share of runners on base. When Holliday got picked off at the third and they scored only one run with bases loaded in the 6th, you feel it's Game 5 deja-vu again, and when Rangers scored 3 runs immediately in the next half inning, I really felt it's their night again.
