The second best defeat of the tournament (behind Italy's).

My faith in Netherlands is rewarded! What a second half.

But dutch played ugly for sure. Robben/Kuyt and especially van bommel. This is NOT the dutch I used to love.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Brazil looked like crap in the second half, they couldn't handle the preasure. And people overrated them a lot, they hadn't played against great team, and the one team that was highly ranked(portugal) drew with them.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Well, that was unexpected. I'm not sure if it's deserved, the 2 goals weren't well played but pure luck (the 1st one more than the 2nd). But to be fair, Holland got it right to not settle for a tie after their 1st goal, instead they capitalized on the new momentum, proceeded aggressively and attacked, Brazil on the other hand wasn't able to be as dangerous anymore, plus the red card was idiotic, their nerves were on edge.

Go Ghana!
After a cautious and nervous beginning they gained control of the match about halfway through the first half.

Energetic match, a lot of fun to watch. I'll be sad whoever loses, and happy whoever wins.

I can't believe Brazil lost. They had a couple great goal shots. Score should've been 3-2 Brazil Go Ghana

Oh my goodness!!! And the ESPN3 screen froze the second the ball was on the line, and we were all screaming what happened. That's crazy.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
How the fuck did Gyan miss that penalty kick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH. They could have easily gone into semi finals. DAMMIT I am officially sad. That was Ghana's only hope and now it seems it is all over for them. I can't gather the courage to watch the penalty kicks.
