It'll be interesting how the penguins respond to this. It's always easier to lose a game 2-1 than 5-0 especially this game. Thoughts have gotta be running through their head that with Datsyuk they just might not equal them. At least with a 2-1 loss you can look at it as, hey we played close just needed a few breaks. It'll be tough for the Wings to win in Pittsburgh and I rally struggle seeing the Penguins win game 7 in hockeytown.

Didn't see that kind of game coming from the Penguins, but i have to say Detroit must be flying high into the game tonight, I can't see them losing baring some miraculous play from the Pens.

Not for a lack of trying on Detroit's part last night. Those last ten minutes were stressful. There were at least three solid scoring chances for the Wings.

Pittsburgh simply outplayed Detroit tonight. Totally deserved it.

And this is the first time I'll admit in, but Pittsburgh out-played Washington all-series-long, too. So while I should hate the Pens, I can't. Well-deserved (and this, of course, means less anxiety for Washington next year; had the Pens lost a second straight Stanley Cup to the Wings, I'd expect them to kick major butt next playoffs. Third time's gotta be a charm).

oh yeah forgot they killed teh Hurricanes to get to the Finals.

What a great game and great series. Everytime the Pens stumbled, everyone counted them out, and they kept bouncing back, mounting a comeback. All the statistics pointed in Detroit's favor. But Pittsburgh just wanted it a little bit more.
