So....really, this is just adding more drama to a great final series to an amazing playoffs.
It's just a dumb move by the NBA and Stu Jackson. If the Heat win the trophy, it will be tainted by this suspension. Was that really needed? No, it was a hard, flagrant foul, but not class 2. Come on, Shaq singlehandedly beat up Dirk, Stack and ? in game 1 (unintentionally). Shaq was totally fine, he even said it wasn't that hard a foul. Why don't they just let them play? Officials are jerks, whether in sports or elsewhere. Always putting themselves over everybody to feel important

Dallas leads at half, but Wade has been a bit off. Game is still up in the air, really.

Wade and the defence were starting to heat up at the end of the 3rd quarter. Dallas should be getting scared now.
For the first 2 3/4 of the game, the Heat were playing like such ass, Dallas should've been up on them by about 15. If the Wade picks it up per usual in the 4th quarter, it'll be all over.

I wonder what the locker rooms like right now... Poor Dallas, and poor Howard. What a way to lose your season.
Deserving for the Heat though! Wade is a superstar. They'll win the championship now, probably in 6.

Lose your season? Are you still aware Dallas has home-court advantage? This kind of stuff happens all the time in sports. (one of the reasons I HATE the 2-3-2 system in the playoffs. The team with home-court advantage SHOULD NOT be one game away from elimination if they win their games at home until game 7)

It it wasn't so sad, it would be funny. First Stackhouse is banned from game 5, then as the Heat were still in danger of losing the game the referees stepped in. 49:25 free throws for Miami? 38 fouls for the Mavs against 26 for the Heat? That's ridiculous. Plus Wade had a backcourt violation and an offensive foul before he was tickled by Nowitzki (you can't call that a foul) for his two decisive free throws. And don't get me started at the TO.. The NBA is a laughing stock right now. Just let them play fair basketball please.

Best Reply Ever.
Marc Cuban on the question whether this was the worst loss he ever experienced:
"No. When I was 3 years old and I was playing on the Pee Wee team, we got beat in the last second. Ask me a real [expletive] question."

The call that decided the game was an absolute JOKE. I can't believe the refs decided Game 5 of the NBA Finals on that fucking call. What a ridiculous way to end the game. BTW, in the 3rd quarter, the Mavs didn't shoot one free throw, while the Heat shot 18.
The NBA is not really worth watching anymore when shit like this happens.

It shouldn't have come to the foul because of the backcourt violation

It was an inbound pass though, I'm not familiar with the rules but aren't they allowed to go backcourt on those?

Yup, it's not a backcourt violation.

It's over tonight. Mavs are too busy whining and bitchin, they dont have time to actually play a basketball game. Their heads are all over the place, they cant handle the pressure, Heat are filled with vets who experienced moments like this and have all the momentum going for them, they're not gonna throw this game away.

Honestly though, this win just feels sooooooooooo underwhelming after such a great playoff year. Maybe cause it involved two teams that I just dont think truly deserved to be in the playoffs, they just caught a few teams on their off days. Im glad some vets won their much deserved rings.

Too funny. Mavs fans cry too much. I repect Tony more when it comes to being a Pistons fanboy, he doesnt cry 1/10 as much as you Mavs fans.
Another thing i'd like to point out is that Heat vs Mavs series didnt equal better ratings then Pistons vs Spurs, just goes to show that Stern and the NBA shouldnt be so happy that they didnt get another rematch with Pistons and Spurs.
