Where would you like me to get the numbers? Sports Illustrated? Great, posting a number without the source showing any backup. Pretty stupid. But I already knew that. So wahtever as I know you are wrong. Last post. As you aren't worth any more time tonight. What? I posted a SOURCE. Not a number.

And confirms Munk is wrong again as the number is less than the 50 Million he said. So there idiot. Now first of course the Yankees are #1. And if anyone thinks about it fairly with common sense they would agree. As the Yankee Players play in the highest tax place in the country so they have to get a better gross total to give them a more equal net. And does any team play extra like the Yankees do to keep players Yankees. Would anyone else pay Jeter and Arod 20 and 30 Million each. And then Riviera, Posoda, Pettiette, etc their salaries. But they can cause the Yankees make more than other teams thus can pay more. But like for example on Jeter they sure aren't getting 20 Million in value back. All I am saying is that there isn't much of a difference with the top 5 teams or so. Especially when I look at the contracts the Red Sox signed last year with their new players/contracts.

Football has a salary cap. 90% of the teams spend the exact same amount of money.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
My prediction for Gold Glove.
1B - Teixiara seems like a good choice, but Overbay was great too as he commited the fewest errors among first basemen. So I choose Overbay (Teixiara is my second choice).
2B - Cano was wicked today. If anybody can beat him, it would be the O-dog. But Cano has this one.
3B - Longoria can do it again, but don't leave out Lopez of the Mariners and Kouzminoff of the A's. Still, Longoria's long range could win him another one despite not having the defense he had last year.
SS - Jeter is still the captain, and he had showed it, but Alexi Rameriz of the CWS should be a strong competitor, so will JJ Hardy, but Jeter will still rule over all.
Catcher - Mauer, nuff said.
Outfield - kinda wide open. Hunter and Ichiro could both go for number 10, despite not looking as great as previous years. Crawford is sure to join them. Still, I think the trio could thrive to win the prize.
Pitcher - From day one, Mark Beurlhe looks like he will win another Gold Glove, although he has a close competitor with Trevor Cahill. I think Cahill can steal this one cause of more pickoffs and DP's he started.
soo...

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Now for National Leauge
1B - Just like MVP, it's between Pujols and Votto. Votto may win MVP, but in terms of defense, Pujols still has the one up here.
2B - Brandon Phillips, he's been on fire all year.
3B - Zimmerman won last year, but his double digit errors does not cut it this year. Polanco should win this time around.
SS - Rollins seems like a good choice, and so does O Cabrera, but Tulo looked more impressive in that spot, so Tulo it is.
Catcher - Yavier still has it. Olivo may catch him, but Yavier is still the best defensive catcher in the NL.
Outfield - Another wide open field. Victorino and Werth are a great duo, Bourn is still the leader, and Kemp good. But Jay Bruce is sure to join them this time, and Andres Torres was spectacular too. I think Bruce has one of them in the bag, but the other two are still wide open. Torres I think will pull it off, but the third spot is the real question. But I'll give it to Victorino, cause, well, he did commit the fewest errors.
Pitcher. Wainwright looks like he may win again, but Bronson Arroyo could catch up to him, especially what I have seen in the Highlight reels. This is a tough one, but with no errors committed (as opposed to one with Adam), Arroyo has the slight edge here.
soo..

soo... So where you perfect except for Torri Hunter. Kind of funny that you missed the one on your own team... But you did say, he might not win it. Glad Ichiro won it for the 10th straight time. He must be the best bargain in baseball. 10 consistent years at bat and in the field. All no long injuries. Really glad Cano won it. With his amazing batting stats, is it agree Cano is the best 2nd baseman in baseball. And a Future MVP, which he probably should be in contention for this year. And on Jeter. Lots of questions. BUT as this is voted on by the OTHER managers and coaches from other teams!!!! Seems like a fair win!!!! And why didn't another deserving player get more votes if he was so good consistently for the whole year. So just like to the Jealous Haters here. F them. Congrats to Jeter!!!!

R.I.P. Dave Niehaus. I've been listening to him for the last 20 years. Maybe now the Mariners will get rid of their rotating crew and stick to one duo or trio for the entire game.
