 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
The game is going ahead. It was the players call. I don't know how you're supposed to coach a football game after you've watched someone you know kill themselves right in front of you.

They'd rather think about the game than their coworker. Its the way manly men deal with grief.

The game is only going to make them more depressed though.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Thats true, a loss here will make things a lot worse. A win, however. would give the city a big emotional lift. If you're the Panthers can you even feel good about beating them? They aren't making the playoffs either way. I might have to switch my pick.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
lol @ Rex Ryan waiting until Tebow is inactive to bench Sanchez and start the backup. Greg McElroy already has a touchdown, too.

Another 49ers-Rams tie in the works. If they don't win, that's on Kaepernick

He's good, but he's showing his inexperience in this game. Alex Smith should be starting.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
So Kaepernick accounted for 10 of St. Louis points and then saved the Rams a timeout by running out of bounds which enabled them to tie it.

As if we needed any more proof the Ravens are wildly overrated...

If everyone thinks they're overrated, does that still make them overrated?

RGIII!
That fumble-for-a-TD thing was awesome. I was kinda hoping it was legit planned...but, I'll take it anyway

RGIII is a beast.
I've learned to enjoy the Redskins' failures time and time again since they've disappointed me so many times but he's really something special.

They're wildly inconsistent and don't have the talent we have. There's just something about the Eagles that doesn't click - from coaching, to the hearts of the players (they all look like they couldn't care less), to the pressure on Michael Vick after '10-'11 season. It's all just bad. And I guess Vick is done now. I hope we're not investing in Foles. He's okay for a rookie and all, but he's nothing special. We'll go nowhere with him. I'm hoping we can get Alex Smith now.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Giants are still good. They're just more of a sneak-into-the-playoffs-and-dominate kinda team. Though if they lose the division to the Cowboys or Redskins now, that'd be embarrassing/hilarious.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
To be fair, the Redskins should have beat the Rams in Week 2 and the Giants in Week 7. You could even make a case for the Falcons and Bengals losses. I mean, they're definitely not the worst team in that division...and they're probably not the second worst, either.
I'll be back in DC for the Cowboys game...hoping to see RGIII live.
