People on Baseball tonight are starting to call the Indians taking the division. Some still have faith in the Sox but nuh uh.
Hope CC stays on form tomorrow. We could really use a sweep of the Royals right now. Sooner or later the Yankees are gonna pass us. So might as well get as close to the Sox as possible before going head to head.

CC was more than in form today. 8 innings pitched, 0 runs, 5 hits, 8 strikeouts, and didn't walk anybody. The Indians won 11-0.
The Yanks lost 6-5. 
The desperate Whitesox sweated out a 2-1 win over the Twins.

Finally we won a game the Yankees didn't win. They're playing Baltimore next.
Basically, we've got to keep on winning to do anything. With only 13 games or so left, though, it seems we're either taking the division or we're not making the playoffs at all. The whole US is on our side, though. Anything to keep the Yankees from getting to the playoffs. Yay, we're America's favorite right now! Boston fans love us, for once.

3-0, but Millwood is taking too many pitches to get out of the little messes (okay, not really) he's created. If he continues at this rate, he'll only go 6 innings.
Not that we have to worry about our fabulous bullpen anyways.

I don't think I can handle Wickman in the 9th, and I damn sure know I won't be able to take him in the playoffs. A loss tonight would have to be demoralizing to the White Sox.
