Wow... great job by the Cavs. They are just out-hustling the Pistons, and to be honest I thought they should have won by much more with all their botched layups and losing their two big men. If you can blame anyone on the Pistons side, it would be Rasheed... he just disappeared in the last two games. You can't make a guarantee and then play like shit!

But, just a word of caution Cavs fans... don't celebrate too prematurely. I have trouble believing Pistons will lose 4 in a row, and if they just win the next one, then game 7 is at Detroit... it looks bleak for us Pistons fans, but it's hardly over, and the Pistons have been here before (down last year to Miami 2-3).

But, good job to your Cavs. They are really growing up fast in these playoffs.

yeah, i'm trying not to get my hopes up too high just yet. i just hope to god they don't have a letdown. man, the Q is gonna be rocking on friday. this is just mind boggling though, i still cannot believe the cavs went into detroit and won. they could have folded but stood tall in the 2nd half. this is so much fun. i just pray they avoid the letdown.

One other thing.... I thought the officiating was horrible on both sides. It's disappointing to watch the end of a game with the Cavs most exciting player (Vara-something) and Detroit's Mr. Big Shot on the bench. I thought they called a lot of ticky-tack fouls.

And who said this is ugly basketball? I think this type of game is more exciting to watch than a no defense game where each team scores 130 points!

i have to say this has probably been the most exciting cleveland sports playoff run that i've ever seen aside from the indians run to choking away the world series in 1997

I said a few posts earlier that the Spurs were not out of it. Now both the Spurs and Pistons are in the same boat... win one on the road and force a game 7 in their own building. I still think either (or both) teams can still pull it out.

Both teams are gonna be f'in exhausted after all this. Good thing Spurs will face a worse team in the Western Finals if they end up beating the Mavs, Pistons it's hard to tell right now if Heats are better then Cavs, Cavs are playing some awsome defense.

If Cavs win, I have to pick the Cavs over the Heat. And, I agree in the Western Conference... I think the Spurs on their worst day are better than the Suns on their best. And LA just isn't that great... plus they're the butt ugliest team I've ever seen. Chris Kayman and Sam Cassell haunt my nightmares.

That's an outrage! Jason Terry gets suspended for game 6 for this while other get no suspension? It's clear now that the league tries everything to get the Mavs out of a titel race and wants the Spurs as Champions. Too bad that if the Spurs advance the reason it won't be because they were better, but because the NBA helped them because they hate the Mav's owner.

Yeah, I'm sure they want the Spurs with the way they usually help the ratings.

If the Spurs and Pistons meet again you might see some of the lowest finals rating ever I believe.

It's personal between the NBA and Cuban and they want to prove it to him. No way this was a punch. You gotta see the situation: A few seconds left, they struggle for the ball, someone puts his hip violently into Terry and he tries to push him off. Yes, he had the hand closed to a fist, but this came from the heat of the situation. He didn't punch.

Well the refs dont want Spurs to move on it looks like, games three and four were sooooo poorly officiated, everything went to Mavs.

They should suspend Nowitzki for singing David Hasselhoff songs when he's shooting free throws.

hehe, this reminded me of an article I recently read:

Quote:
Stern, if truth be told, regards Cuban as more friend than foe, especially because he's limited his bashing of the referees to issues of competency and not the league-wide conspiracy theories that drive the commissioner nuts.

Say you as a Spurs supporter. Most news outlets said the officiating was bad in both ways

I need the Cavs to win. But I feel like talk will jinx it.

Even if you don't like the Cavs, you have to admit - their games are mad fun. They beat Washington with, what, three one-point games? I'd rather have close games, where I'm nervous and on my knees, than blowout games...

I agree... these grind them out gritty defensive games are my favorite types. Some basketball novices hate them and call them "ugly", but us true lovers of the game know that these battles rock.

Should be a great game tonight. I, of course, hope the Pistons eek it out, but I can't say I'm as confident as in years past. I have to believe that they can't lose 4 games in a row, but they just don't look like the same old Pistons team over these last 3 games. I've never seen them playing scared before, but they look really tight and really ugly. They're trying too much 1 vs. 1 ball and that's not at all what they are about. Hope they break out of their funk...

wow, the media here in cleveland are making this out like it's game 7 of the finals. it's really quite funny and sad. this is as close as cleveland has been to a championship in any sport in almost 10 years though haha.

At the end of game four it was a free throw fest for the Mavs, thats the only reason they won.

man, lebron really needs to step it up in the 2nd half. he was virtually invisible in the first half, and settled for way too many outside jumpers. he's just lucky the supporting cast is playing well enough that they're only down by 1 at the half.

hahaha cleveland's true colors shine through again. and people say we aren't cursed. now nobody should have to wonder why cleveland fans are negative about everything. they had this series and all the momentum in their pocket and still found a way to blow it at home. boy i'll tell ya, i love being a cleveland fan.
