What's the deal on this guy saying he is Lebron's father.

If Lebron and his mother want to get rid of him, can he still be charged or threatened with statutory rape 25 years later??? And he was 30 and Lebron's Mom was 15, I think?

And that is nice, I guess Lebron's mom is about 40...so she is young enough to really enjoy Lebron's money if they are still close.

F the writers in the papers who are bitching about the James decision.

Shit, he picked a city that he wanted to play in, with the team/players/friends. Good for him. Bet you most athletes would have loved to have done that.

And for 100 Million also.

He's a traitor and a coward. I hope the Heat crash and burn this year. Have fun getting past Orlando in the playoffs with a center making 400k on a one year contract defending Dwight Howard. My only hope is that the Cavs grab the 7 or 8 seed and pull off the mega upset against the Heat.

why is he a traitor and a coward, especially considering he is just a 25 year old professional entertainer?

Sht, it is not like he is the President...who seems to think he has no standards to uphold!

As I've stated many, many times before... I've never liked Lebron. Always thought his ego was way out of proportion with what he's accomplished.

This whole thing didn't change my opinion of him. I do think it was a massive mistake on his part to make such a spectacle out of this decision. He had to know that was only going to rub salt into the wounds.

Miami might now be the only team that I'd root for the Lakers to beat. And that says something as I can't stand the Lakers (who are a team full of rapists and idiots).

At least this has been entertaining... made more entertaining by Dan Gilbert's own idiocy. I love that he's even being slammed for his poor choice of using the Comic Sans font in his letter.

This is the first time since MJ left Chicago that I'm excited for a new season to begin. :D

Most win in a season is 72 set by MJ,Pippen,Rodman & Kukco.
James,Wade & Bosh will top it. They're gonna be that good during the reg season. lol

Unless Bynum gets injured (which he probably will), I don't see the Heat matching up very well with the Lakers. The Laker's have so much size and Steve Blake is an upgrade over Derek Fisher, though Fisher is a big "locker room" guy.

It'll never, ever happen, but how cool would it be if Cleveland won the championship next year?

Nothing would crush Lebron's legacy - or be more funny - than that.

Oooh... didn't think about that possibility, but it's not completely out of the question to see a Cavs vs. Heat first round playoff series. I could see it as a 1-8 or 2-7 match up. That would definitely be an epic first round, regardless of outcome or scores.

We traded Hedo for Leandro Barbosa. Won't change much next year, but still... fuck yeah. Bye Hedo. Hope you enjoy the fast food and beer in Phoenix as much as you did in Toronto.

I think that is a good deal for suns. Turk should start for suns. Barbosa hardly played last season for suns. If Suns get Jose Childress then they should be in a good position to finish in Top 5 WC.

We also did Calderon and Evans to Charlotte for Diaw and Chandler

Great start to the summer! Calderon and Hedo gone

Man if we could get Rubio from Minnesota this would be epic... the team is perfectly built for him

Hedo struggled in Toronto... because it's fucking TORONTO. He was obviously severely depressed that he had to live in fucking TORONTO.

Melo is looking to leave Denver and go to NY.

Probably won't be a legit contender still, but it at least makes them very interesting. It also makes Denver a bubble team for the playoffs.

It'd be interesting if Knicks could somehow convince Nash to leave Phoenix. Nash/Melo/Amare would be so much fun to watch. 110 points per game.

120 per game. The Suns scored 110 per game. Melo would go insane in that offense.

Being a life-long Denver fan, I would hate to see him go. At the same time, I know that he wants to win and most likely will not be able to do so in Denver. I love watching him and will continue to do so wherever he plays.

Poor Nuggets. We had our one year and let it slip away... (inbound passes still haunt my dreams).
