 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
A couple of weeks ago it seemed like he was going back to the Rockets without any doubt. I'd gladly take him on the Celtics though. He'd be nice to have coming off the bench in the playoffs. It'd also be nice to see P.J. Brown come back for half a season.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Even though the Magic blew out the Hornets, the 4th quarter was one of the ugliest quarters of basketball that I have ever seen. Horrendous.
Also unfortunately CP3's steal streak is now over.

Wow, what a game! (Spurs vs Suns). Last-second 3 to win it.

Oh well. The Celtics literally can't win them all. Good game though. Time to start a new streak tomorrow night.

Wizards got absolutely raped by the refs tonight. That would've been a sweet victory for them, so close

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
For the first time in a long time the Celtics just kind of quit tonight. They scored 51 in the first half and were up by 12. And then for some reason they only scored 38 in the second half. I'm guessing it's not because the Warriors have the best defense who can stop anyone. I don't care if they had just played the Lakers the day before and are worn out from the game and the trip to the West Coast, but tonight's game even with all of that in mind should've been a win. They just didn't bother in the second half and deserved to lose. And I don't even know what to make of the Warriors putting up 35 in the fourth quarter.

Welcome back Melo! That was a great overall game and he came through in the clutch. Hopefully he can continue with some good shooting and rebounding.

Did the Kings forget they were playing the Celtics tonight or something? With 3:38 to go it's the Celtics 103 the Kings 58 and it's about to get worse.

I guess it didn't get too much worse... though that's not saying much.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Holy crap. Melo goes from being on fire to being completely cold (though there were some questionable calls he still shot like crap) and the Nuggets implode in the 2nd half.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Yikes, if you want to get out of a hole, losing to the Thunder and Warriors in a span of a week is NOT the way to do it. Last night was a classic example of Calderons season so far. 21/16/6, like zomg Jose! Too bad almost all those assists were crappy and invisible (hes mastered the equivalent of the second assist in hockey - where you just give it to a star, let him do the work, and pick up the point) and you let CJ Watson and Bellinelli absolutely destroy you every possesion by scoring or penetrating like mad on the other end. Denver Houston Orlando coming up, barring some luck, 12-22 this team will be, 13-21 at best. Sad part is we still wont be out of the playoff race. New Jersey, Chicago, and Milwaukee are in the 7-9, LOL.

OMG! We defeat Boston without Roy. Boston looks obviously pissed the whole game. Oden was an absolutely beast. And that play at the end of the 1st half was just too funny.
Oh, and that felt more intense than the Lakers-Celtics matchup.
One more thing: KG is an absolute ass with little class.

One more thing: KG is an absolute ass with little class. Didn't see the game because I forgot it was on but I saw the clips. That's usually what happens when the opposing team is allowed to have 6 players on the floor against your legal 5. Celtics had a right to be upset. They shouldn't have let it affect them the whole game, but they had a right to be frustrated.

*slow clap*
Bosh should come up with a nickname for his 4th quarter 3 attempts the next time he makes a youtube video. The Botch shot maybe.

It's not like it cost them the game, though. They would've taken a 6-point lead as opposed to a 5 point lead had the bucket not counted, and that's assuming the Blazers didn't score on their last possession. NBA needs to insert this into their new commercial.

Yeah, I saw the story on ESPN. If he actually worked his ass off and doesn't mind coming off the bench, I'm all for it. If he doesn't want to do that then no thanks.

Yeah I think if any team can absorb the Starbury, it's KG and the Celtics. Good move

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
The Celtics bench could definitely use someone like Marbury. They still need some length on their 2nd-unit frontcourt, though.
