Martin Brodeur looks (and is) so evil, I don't know how anyone could hate Carolina more than NJ.

I do, but that's mostly stemming from '06.

I don't like New Jersey either, though. This series and San Jose/Anaheim were by far the most uninteresting to me.

He "twitters" (god it pains me to say that), and it's pretty funny to see his updates in real time during the games. Haven't seen one since the game ended. Fat fuck better not have blew his brains out. I want to see how "A Couple of Dicks" turns out.

I'd say their chances are more than slightly better. The Bruins are a much better playoff team than the Caps.

Before the Ovechkin era, there was no such thing as a "diehard Caps fan."

The Caps are certainly not better than the Bruins, but have that tight rivalry with Pitt. They'll win if they can easily frustrate Crosby. With Varlamov...the goal-tending and defense is fairly even.

Crosby can make or break the series. If he can keep his cool, Pitt has a chance. If he goes for retaliating low-blows, well, Pitt won't be going anywhere, because the Caps are not easily frustrated.

Frustrating Crosby might be the Caps' worst enemy. Philly tried it and it only seemed to make Crosby work harder.

It's not the same when it comes from Ovechkin. Crosby takes it personally.

Either way, it'll be fun. When does it starT?

I dislike the Wizards and hardly follow football. I also faintly remember wanting GMU to lose back in 2006 in the NCAA, and Libs being like "WTH is wrong with you?"

I'm loyal to all Cleveland teams... but I like the Caps, and I would like the Redskins/Nats if they were half-decent (I know that sucks, but...)
