 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Lovely beating of Pistons. One point shy of all time lowest point total.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Celtics just completely lost it in the final five minutes of the game. They had a 13 point lead and completely blew it. They stopped being aggressive on offense and their defense was simply awful. And now they've got Portland coming up at home. They're going to need to be on their absolute A-game in order to win on Wednesday.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
I love how the Knicks died after Isiah got his contract extension last year, and then this year as soon as Dolan drops the hint of firing him, they beat the crap out of the Pistons and Wizards. Either he's the best coach ever whenever he has to try, or he's been secretly supplying the players with weed and cheeseburgers and threatening to take them away whenever he really needs it.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
LeBron James is the best player alive today and he just turned 23.
Aside from leading the Nba in scoring at 29.8 points a game, the super star is posting career highs in per game averages with assists (7.6), rebounds (7.7), steals and blocks.
His team, which is 0-6 without him, is 20-12 when he plays. Also, averaging nearly 8 assists a game...with that team....thats a lot of passing.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
The worst part was that we picked Araujo like 2 years before and it was HILARIOUS. And then we get a #1 pick and choose ANOTHER foreigner/european. That's just asking for it.

Yeah so does anyone go on Yahoo! at all? They started a list today of the power rankings for teams and in the NBA, and Celts are #2?

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Definitley one of the best nights this year for the Raps. When Bosh and Caldy play that good we win most of the time, plus Delfino dropped 26 and Bargnani got 6 boards(hey, trust me, I'll take what I can get).
On a side note I think the Kings need to get rid of Bibby and Artest pronto, you could tell the young guy rhythm Martin/Salmons/Udrih/Garcia have was just killed by those 2 guys coming in and dominating the ball to themselves. It'll be interesting to see where they go, if it happens.

I can't believe the Lakers are #1 in the West *_* That's awesome. Maybe the Cavs will follow suit. Kobe/LeBron finals anyone? It could happen again!

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
The Celtics needed this kind of win badly tonight. They needed to get their offense back on track and they were able to do so, scoring 100 tonight against the Blazers. Good win tonight. Hopefully they can get on another roll here up against the 76ers, Kincks, Raptors, Timberwolves and Magic.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
The Sixers held tough for three quarters against the Celtics. Then they were absolutely obliterated in the fourth. The Celtics were up 78-73 heading into the fourth and then proceeded to outscore the Sixers 38-16 for a 116-89 win. All of this came with Pierce sitting out most of the fourth.
32 - 6

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Bosh has been crazy lately. I think he got hot around this time last year too, but I don't think it quite like this. He's dropping 30 every night lately... pretty difficult feat for a big man. Meanwhile, Bargs still sucks. I'm starting to grow a tougher immunity to his shittiness though, a couple months ago I couldn't sleep over it, but I'm starting accept now he's just a flop. By next year I'll just be cynically laughing at the pick. Nothing you can do after it's done.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Quote: Fans who have long since grown bored of dunk- and three-point competitions will be pleased by the news that the NBA has decided to add a game of H-O-R-S-E to its All-Star weekend in February.
According to insider Henry Abbot, it won't be NBA players but D-leaguers who play the game. Which is not to say it won't be good. Trick shots would seem to be for the youngsters, not something the veterans of the NBA spend a lot of time working on. Not most of them anyway: LOL, this is their answer to a faltering all-star weekend? D-leaguers, ha ha hahaha.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Gosh, the Heat are an embarrasment. At least when Boston lost 18 straight they didn't have Pierce. Oh well, it's the best thing that can happen to them. Wade/Beasely...

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Nets = fail Hope they miss the playoffs. And the Sacramento Kings will go on a huge run from this point on. Bibby/Martin/Artest/Moore/Miller with Udrih/Garcia/Salmons off the bench... that's a really really good lineup, and Theus is a good coach. Neat thing is they're playing this good and Salmons hasn't found a way to mesh with the others yet, and I have a feeling he will. West is too good this year.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
This Celtics game shows why Ford being out is hurting us so much. We kept dead even with them for the first quarter, soon Dixon comes in as the backup PG, Celtics lead gets to 10 in about two minutes. Then Jose came back in and we cut it down again... if there wasn't the Dixon dropoff we'd probably be winning this. The impact of the injury is not so much that Ford's scoring can't be made up as much as it is that Dixon is really really bad. But Bargs is playing good... surprisingly.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
All-Star Starters
East G - Jason Kidd G - Dwyane Wade F - Lebron James F - Kevin Garnett C - Dwight Howard
West G - Allen Iverson G - Kobe Bryant F - Carmelo Anthony F - Tim Duncan C - Yao Ming
I don't have too big a problem with any of them, Nash or Paul are > Iverson and I would've put Billups and Dirk over Kidd and Melo, but it's all pretty expected, Iverson getting it is better than McGrady at least.
