only Cleveland was a surprise (not sure why you fire a coach after one year). There could be one or two more depending on what happens with the Raiders, Dolphins, and Cowboys. I think the latter two will keep their jobs, but who knows what will happen in Oakland that franchise is a mess.

Oakland and Miami should keep their coaches. Dallas should fire theirs.

It sounds like Dallas is going to keep Garrett, not sure if that is the right decision. Not sure if giving Allen another year will do any good. Oakland is terrible, they have no QB and little talent. They will probably win 3-6 games with or without Allen next year.
Also, the NFL admitted today that the Refs screwed up yesterday for the Chiefs-Chargers game. They should have thrown a penalty on the FG and it would have given the kicker a second chance. I am glad it meant nothing for the Chiefs, but still it is pretty embarrassing.

Oakland also has, BY FAR, the most "dead money" in the league. And they'll have a TON of cap space next year. With the right moves, they could be decent next season.

Garrett has gone 8-8 three years in a row and lost the "in and you're in" game all three years. Time to go.

Detroit is probably the best job for a coach. They have the pieces just need the right person in charge.

Still think Texans has the best job for a coach. Everybody was expecting them to be a contender before the season, and they will have the No. 1 pick.

Raiders should keep Allen. He has had no talent to work with. Now they finally removed most of their bad contracts and have cap space, year 3 is where they should start seeing improvement. They are in a tough division though, and the next year's schedule looks tough where they have to play AFC East and NFC West.

The missed call didn't screw the Chiefs, but it did screw the Steelers. No real sympathy there though for an 8-8 team.

The missed call is still pretty embarrassing, can't those refs count. The referees were pretty bad this year. and they should do something about that in the off season.
