seeing this headline > Colt McCoy's numbers are down and he slumped against top defenses. Will the Texas QB's record sway Heisman voters? > I wonder if he should have gone to the NFL last year > will he lose draft positions/money at all for waiting till this year for the draft.

I didn't want Ingram to win but all my "hate" against him washed away when he was announced the winner. That speech was impressive as well.

Congrats to him.

They just mentioned that the vot ewas separated by 28 votes over Gerhart. Wow!

Well he wouldn't have gone that high even he did come out last year. I don't see him being a QB in the NFL anyway. Sure he's mobile but that's against college athletes. I don't think he has that strong an arm either.

As for this QB class coming up it sounds like it's going to be QB overloaded but as we've seen in the NFL this year there are so many BAAAAAD QBs.

Sul is the best player but they don't get the award to defensive players.

Currently watching '30 for 30'...

The Miami situation back then reminds me of the current Detroit situation... which hopefully means great things for Michigan football.

i love how everyone is saying suh should have won it when 2 weeks ago nobody would have. he was a dominate player yes, but the only reason normal people are talking about him is because of 1 game.

Because it was on TV, lol.

At least he can fall back on making the most money of the 5.

I hope Tebow has all the success in the NFL.

Check out this story.

Quote:
University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow didn't take home an award from the The Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Thursday night, but he made national news from the red carpet with his date, the young woman he brought on his arm.

Don't be jealous of success and compassion.

There's an X factor about him. I'm sure Simon would agree.

For starters: How about someone from the O-Line who just allowed 5 sacks all season and anchored one of the most explosive offenses in the country?

BYU proves that the MWC deserves an automatic berth and further shows the need of a playoff system. A very convincing win...

Post Re: 2009 College Football Season
I don't know if you guys have been following the Texas Tech firing of Mike Leach but I've been watching ESPN today and they are the most slanted "news" organization in regards to this story. They put up commentators who keep throwing around the idea that Leach mistreated a player, that they aren't sure of what's true and what's not yet they side with the Jame's story, they don't discuss the pro-Leach comments from numerous players and coaches yet show a player comment from a DT and a Center who IMO don't speak for the team but are ultra anti-leach and the anchors keep using the "mistreated" line like it's fact and the whole use of the word "shed" or "cage" when neither of those words apply to the building the player was placed in.

I'm just finding this very disgusting how Mark May is stating that Leach dug this hole himself when Leach's team has a signed doctors affidavit stating that what he did in regards to the player in no way endangered the player and was possibly helpful in that concussion instance.

Then I follow a link that showed copies of emails from TT officials talking about Leach and negotiations over his current contract and in those emails it's clear they wanted to be able to fire him with as little cost to themselves as possible and have just looking maybe even begging for an opportunity to get rid of him and this Jame's kid invited the perfect score with a cherry on top.

I've read alot of user comments on sites like redraiders.com and most appear to be pro-Leach in regards to the situation and anti his firing. Whatever the case, imo I hope he goes forward in a lawsuit if he thinks that will get him what he feels he's due especially the 800k bonus he would have gotten tomorrow.

The whole thing has been quite bizarre.

Check out this youtube video with Leach's attorney and a local news reporter of the "rooms" in question.
