A rivalry renewed!

I mean that was just sad - kind of like the rest of the Lakers performance in this game. The Celts just ran away with this one in the fourth. And how could I forget. The Celtics just swept their west coast trip. Can the rest of the country accept them as a good team now, or are we going to have to wait until Detroit again, in Motown?

The Lakers whole performance was just terrible, not to demean a Celtics performance but Minnesota could have beat LA tonight.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Stop the presses, Portland lost. Raps had a good game against New Orleans tonight... came back from 10 in the 4th, got kinda lucky when Paul missed 3 straight free throws in the last couple minutes. Nice matchup with him and Jose, Bosh and West. Those two owned us pretty bad, but our supporting cast came up stronger than theirs and won it. I like the Hornets a lot. Now onto stopping another winning streak - Detroit.

No team in the franchise's history have started off with a better record than '07-'08 Celtics.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Michael Redd is apparantley on the block... I actually think it'd be a good move for Milwaukee to blow up and build around Yi/Bogut/someone good they get for Redd/someone good they get this draft. I've watched a number of close Bucks games this year, it always ends in a pretty lol and sad fashion... Mo and Redd walking up to the 3 point line and jacking up bricks over and over until the game is done. I would hate to be a Milwaukee fan watching those two.

Well the Celtics sure played rather poorly tonight, but when you're playing Memphis it doesn't really matter.

A win is a win, although this one wasn't very pretty.
28-3
Hopefully they have their A-game in Detroit tomorrow, because they're going to need it.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Feels so wrong only to be .5 game up on the Cavs and Nets... feels like they've been losing Knicks, Clippers, Heat, Bobcat games all year(oh wait, that's cause they have ), while we've been mostly steady as she goes against shit teams. Not as worried about the Nets because their schedule gets retarded hard in the last 2 months of the year, but it looks like the Lebrons will be fine. At this point I don't care where the Raps land in the 3-6 range as long as we don't face Cleveland(or New Jersey for that matter) and as long as we stay out of 7-8, which would be closer to missing the playoffs than actually having a matchup to watch. I'd rather get the 6 and play Orlando than the 4 and play the Cavs, homecourt or not. PS The Heat are within 1 point of Dallas in the 4th without Shaq AND Wade. That's just

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Weird stat of the day, the Jazz were 1st in the league in rebounding last year... Through 35 games of this year they are 26th. I'm not really sure how that happens. : |

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
So Lebron was sleeping through the first 3 quarters of the game today, then apparantley two of our cheerleaders started saying some bitch trash talk to him(he confirmed it in the post-game interview, seriously), so he decided to get pissed and went off for 24 in the 4th. Felt exactly like Kobe in the 81 game, he just started later. Not cool.

milestone alert: LeBron - barring injury- looks to become the youngest ever to 10,000 points sometime in March.
