Kings BLEW IT!!! They could've had the game, even without Artest playing. I did notice that in the first game Artest was trying to do too much, he seems to be totally trying to take over the team, needs to get others involved.

Wow that was shocking that the Kings almost pulled off at that game at San Antonio without Artest. But what I noticed most in that game is just how much I hate the Spurs's PA announcer. Most god awful annoying voice on the face of the planet. Anyhow, I hope Kings can pull out a couple games. I would like SA to really get worn down before getting to the finals.
As for the Cleveland vs. Washington game... I thought Lebron really threw that game away at the end. He forced so many bad shots - and not taking a 3 at the end with 10 seconds left being down by 3 was idiotic (the one time he should have taken it - he didn't). On the flip side, Arenas was making things happen without forcing it... he went several minutes without scoring, but was drawing 2 defenders and dumping it to the open guy. I think that will be a long series, although I'm sticking with my Washington pick.

If Arenas does 30+ each game from now on it's over for Cavs. Especially if the underrated Antawn Jamison plays like he usually does. To think Warriors had these two players at one point and they tossed Arenas after two years because its seems developing a team and waiting a few years to get something going is not something they really like to do. J.Rich, Arenas, and Jamison, all players that developed as quite the players, could've been something special.
I dont think Kings will win any games now, this game totally took their heart out of it. Their head is hanging down to the floor now.

I still think that Kings will pull out one game. The Spurs don't look all that hot this year... they'll slip up once.
I didn't know that Arenas played for GSW. That sucks for them! On another GS note, did I read they were keeping their coach? If so, that's un-friggin'-believable. They'll get rid of Arenas, but not their loser of a coach. Whoever owns that team should be shot.

Arenas was actually like a 2nd round 30th pick or so, he played his first two years for Warriors, it's strange because I look at his stats and he basically went from around 10pts a game to 18pts the year after, is that a player you get rid of after two years ALONG with Jamison ( both left after 02-03' season ) I seriously dont even remember what deal we got for them.
Chris Mullen is a dope, eh whatever though. I guess it's time to keep a coach for more then 1-2 years, this is do or die year for sure, but I dont know, he's just not the coach that will take this team far.

I guess it really does matter that you finish in the top 3 seeds in your conference to have a chance at the MVP, which Kobe, Dirk, and Lebron all didn't. If Cavaliers was the #3 seed in the East and Mavericks was #2 in the West rather than the division system they have now, then the voting results may be different.

Don't cry because Steve Nash > Kobe Bryant
One looks out for his team... The MVP
One looks out for his on success... The Loser

Listen, I really dont like Kobe, but last night he played so unselfish, it was like a new man. He is making the whole team much stronger and they really are stopping with the whole relying on Kobe all the time game plan. This Lakers team really is playing like a playoff team, they're looking stronger then the Suns.

But the point of MVP is how he played all season. You said yourself that he was like a new man. That means during the season, he was not MVP.

Ya know, screw you smart ass.
Okay, Kobe is playing NOW like he should be MVP and I mean even though he looks to be changing his game plan it's not like he didnt deserve MVP during the season, he alone took a very very mediocre looking team to the playoffs.

Exactly. He didn't make his team better. He brought them there.
Nash kept his team playing at the same high level as last year... and without their main scorer

So, do we all agree the Spurs will win it all for the next 5 years straight?

Actually, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Pistons sweep the playoffs. Well, at least the east. The Spurs might give them a little trouble, but not much.

Pistons are a MUCH more offensive team this year... and their defence is still just as great.
Thus... Pistons > Spurs

So what did all the refs suddenly do a 180? During the season every single little thing was called, foul every second. Now it's the total opposite. Kings totally stole that game from Spurs, anyone can see that was a foul on Bibby, bunch of bs.
Lakers win again, Suns are shite. Good luck relying on those 3pts all the time. Nash is showing his incredible MVP status.

Lots of good series going on!
Lebron certainly made up for his craptacular game 2. I'm really not sure who I'm rooting for here - in terms of who is a better matchup for the Pistons. I'm probably leaning toward the Cavs win as Arenas has an axe to grind with the Pistons - although Detroit should handle either one.
It was good to see the Kings beat the Spurs! They are just one bucket away (in game 2) from being ahead 2-1 here. And the no calls went both ways Kill. It was pretty bad officiating all the way around. Spurs should still win this, but at least they'll have to work for it.
Although I'm not a Kobe (or Lakers) fan, it is kind of fun to watch him stick it to Steve Nash. That's going to be hilarious if they win the series and Nash is named MVP. Kobe has looked really, really good in this series and has done an excellent job at getting his teammates involved. They are really dangerous when he plays that way. Although, to put things in perspective... the Suns are not a good playoff team.
And what about Miami? They look like crap, and I think Riley made a huge mistake making those off season moves. Chicago is another team that is just a few buckets away from being up 2-1. I don't think Chicago will win it... I don't see them pulling out a game 7 on Miami's floor, but I would not be shocked to see this go the distance.
As for DP07's Pistons vs. Spurs question above.... there's no doubt in my mind the Pistons will win easily this year. They are MUCH better this year than last, when they lost in the last few minutes in game 7 on the Spurs floor. This year they have the homecourt, are much stronger, and should easily handle the Spurs. I see nothing to suggest the Spurs can beat them.

This Pistons haven't swept a playoff series since 1990. Hardly shocking they gave up one in Milwaukee. It's the same old story... the Pistons get comfortable and then play as if they aren't really interested anymore. It's like they always need a push to get going. Ben Wallace hardly even showed up today... 1 block, 1 point, and a mere 5 rebounds.
And what's up with the playoff schedule. Some teams were playing their 4th game before the Pistons/Bucks had played their 3rd?

My dad claims they're staggering the Pistons and the Red Wings, but I don't get why the Pistons didn't play Thursday if that's the case.

What a sad day in Detroit
First the Wings lose... and then the Pistons
