Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
I was really hoping Stanford could've held on. Oh well. At least Ohio State lost.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Yeah, they are falling apart.
Who's worse at this point? Baylor or Ohio State? Baylor's lost more, but they have the slightly tougher conference based on RPI.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
If they played head to head on a neutral court, I would take Ohio over Baylor. Despite their recent struggles which I am greatly enjoying.
Michigan played sloppy last night, but they shot the fucking lights out. Indiana isn't good, but going into their building will be tough on Sunday.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
I would have to agree, based off that game between Baylor and West Virginia, Baylor just looked like they were playing lifeless basketball. They have no drive as a team.

What a game between Duke and Syracuse. A tough loss for us, but we have definitely turned things around the last few weeks and will be a contender come March.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Duke will make the tourney, but I don't really see them going deep maybe sweet 16. The bigger news is Arizona losing, leaving us with two unbeatens. Not sure if Wichita will get beat in the regular season or their conference tourney. Syracuse should be 1 now.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
With the way Jefferson and the role players have performed in the last couple of weeks, we could definitely contend for Final Four. The offense will always be there, and the defense has improved quite decently. The lack of big man is a problem, but Jefferson is now holding in there well, and Parker is rebounding great.

Horrid loss to Texas, but when our team clicks, I still think we're one of, if not the best team in the nation.

It will depend on the seeding and the region, I suppose. They look weaker than last year's team of course who knows when it comes to the tournament sometimes.

Kansas continues to win, but I am not as impressed with their February team as I was with their January team.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Wichita State are now 25-0 and should stay unbeaten until the NCAA tourney. If they remain unbeaten, I think they will get a #1 seed.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Wichita State will be the Gonzaga of this year. Easily. Last year they had the benefit of being an underrated team. This year they will have to deal with people wanting to beat them.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
I think they are better than Gonzaga last year. It will also depend on the region. Gonzaga ran into an amazing team in Wichita last year. If they hadn't been there they would have gotten to the Sweet 16 at least.

Same with the Big XII
After tonight's loss, it is clear: Embiid needs to step up his game again.

BIG game tonight for Michigan. Have to beat Ohio to stay in the lead for the conference.

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
Pitt took the dumbest timeout I've seen in a while. And being a Michigan fan, I KNOW dumb timeouts.
Cuse used their last timeout. Don't give them time to set up another play. Make them rush it.

They don't seem dominate like Kentucky in 2012 though, so who knows.

Controversial end to the Duke Syracuse game. Your thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

Re: College Basketball 2013-14 Season
The charge call itself looks 50/50 to me, certainly no worse than the non-call for Hood's dunk attempt back in Syracuse, and Syracuse would still have had a chance if Boeheim hadn't done what he did; he basically left the ref with no choice. The post conference remark was amusing though.
