I had a bit of issue with the way Augusta was set up this year. Not that it wasn't somewhat fun to watch, and not that I hate hard courses, but the first 3 days this week was set up too hard. Zach Johnson doesn't have top player talent, he just played the smartest and most strategically sound. Some channels have mentioned this, but if there's one sole reason why he won, it's because he didn't go for the green in 2 on any par 5 over the weekend, and as a result ended up -11 on them overall... When the winning score is +1, that's the difference maker for sure. He also had the brains enough to avoid looking at the leaderboard all day, he withstood the pressure because he didn't know there was pressure... When he finally did look at it on 17, he bogeyed, but held it together from there.
It's crazy that if Sunday was set up as hard as Saturday like it is most years, the winning score would've been like +4... just ridiculous.
