Translation: Italian Media delivers proof. Zidane chokes Figo. Banned for Finale
Oh and that's also nice:

Well. Scoreless game, but one of the more entertaining ones. And if the german team wasn't so clueless with corners and free-kicks, there probably would have been a score already. Portugal had some nice opportunities as well between minutes 15 and 25

Another yellow for Portugal. And another free-kick from 20 meters that we'll miss

LOL. I hope so
Quick question, are yellow cards carried over to next world cup?

I don't think so. The people who got banned (Rooney, the Argentinians) have to sit out during the next official games (i.e. qualifying games for Euro 2008 etc.). So if there's a penalty for the second yellow at all it will be in one of those games.
Will be scoreless into the halftime, the pace has dropped

Man, this ref is blind. If a man with a red jersey touches the ball last, the white ones get the corner. And he obviously think that football is played with hands also

Are Deco and Pauletta still doing nothing? Any fake dives or tears by Ronaldo?
Poor guy, this Worldcup really screwed up his image lol.

Deco and Pauletta both missed one great opportunity. Ronaldo didn't show up, neither positive nor negative
edit: just as I'm typing it, Ronaldo made a beauty of a dive

Halftime. Slight advantages for Germany but nothing substantial

I always found the third place match depressing as hell. They shouldn't have this round at all.

If Portugal wins today and Italy wins tomorrow, Toronto be crazy! There's an Italian Street Festival that's closing down a couple of streets. It would be flooded with people.
Thankfully, since i'm not watching the game, I am not nervous at all. Soccer can lead to heart attacks, even if you're not a fan. I feel sorry for avid patriotic soccer fans.

That dive was indeed a beauty. Pure Italian school, but with unique Ronaldo's skill.

Yeah. It's good for the 3rd place team, but sucks for the team that loses twice.

Its not good even for the third place team. Its like a token sympathy round, and both teams are just thinking they didn't make the final. The playing has always been lethargic and sloppy, and its just unenthusiastic and depressing environment. I usually feel bad for both teams. Their hearts aren't really in the game at this point.

His reputation will be so crushed after this tournament that he'll only get a call in the future if his limbs are separated from his body

Shouldn't the best referees be chosen for the bigger games? Just wondering...
