did anyone see LeBron v Wade today? That was one of the best, and most entertaining games i've seen in a long long time.

I thin LeBron James just made himself the regular season MVP today with their win against the Nets.

In other league news, Dallas is sucking the big turd. They don't have a history of playing well in crunch time... it wouldn't even surprise me if they got booted in the first round against the #5 team (currently Denver).

I think you got proven wrong on that. Nowitzki for MVP!!!

the media will still keep making excuses why he shouldn't be mvp.

I think he'll have a good shot at getting it, but I still think he's too one dimensional (all offense, no defense) to win the award, but he'd be in my top 3 (if I had a vote).

I hate Kobe with a purple (and gold) passion.

I'm going with Chauncey Billups. Anybody that can overcome the name "Chauncey" and still be good at basketball deserves an MVP award. You can't argue with logic like that.

If the final is Spurs/Pistons again, that will be the most boring finish. There needs to be more parity in the league.

LeBron James was brilliant in his first career playoff game, notching a triple=double as the Cavs take game 1 against the Wiz 97-86

Wow, Spurs turn it on just like that when playoff time comes. Pacers are looking decent and Nets are looking like a big tease winning all those games in a row at the end of the season.

I got a parlay going for $20 ( i'll get 6x that if I win ) picked the Lakers over Suns +7 1/2 so I won that, easy to see Suns are a bunch of chumps who will never ever get to the finals with a team like that, all offense, thats it.

Got Bucks over Pistons +12, so far so good, even with Redd playing mediocre.

and last Grizzlies over Mavs +7, I wouldnt be surprised if Grizz win the game.

So far no real shockers in the first round. Although my two underdog picks (Denver and Washington) didn't come through for me yet. My Pistons looked really, really rusty with Billups and Hamilton sucking hard. However, it doesn't really matter with their defense... it appeared the could stop the Bukcs at will. It's a good sign if they looked bad and won by nearly 20 points!

As Kill said, I thought the Suns look pretty piss poor. The fact they could barely beat the Lakers on their home floor and while holding Kobe to 22 points is not a good sign. I wouldn't be that shocked if they end up getting beat by the Lakers. Defense wins championships... these teams that are all offense always get an early boot in the playoffs.

We should just save everybody time and jump right to the Spurs vs. Pistons finale... it's no coincidence that those are two of the top defensive teams in the league.

I'm honestly fine about it being Pistons vs Spurs again, if any other team gets in it's basically an upset and would be a total fluke because no other teams deserve to be in the finals except these two. I'd like these two teams to settle the score, see if Spurs really are one of the G.O.A.T or if Pistons can prove that they deserve that recognition aswell.

eh looks like the cavs just may have dug their own grave. that choke job in the 4th may just have cost them the series. they have to play the next two on the road where they are awful. cleveland rocks....:disgust:
