 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
I'm not sure about the other teams, but the next five games for the Celtics are very winnable.
Fri, Nov 9 Atlanta 7:30 pm Sat, Nov 10 at New Jersey 7:30 pm Tue, Nov 13 at Indiana 7:00 pm Wed, Nov 14 New Jersey 7:30 pm Fri, Nov 16 Miami 7:30 pm
They may lose a road game in there, but they should go 4-1 if not win all five.

For a basketball game, yeah. World Cup final is still THE most watched game. Yi has looked better than I expected so far and might be an interesting fantasy option down the road.

Both Yao and Yi played well, and Rockets won; every Chinese will be happy with that outcome.

They may lose a road game in there, but they should go 4-1 if not win all five. Tonight's game was the one I thought they might lose. They won by 11 and that was despite the Celtics being outscored in the 4th - 35-25. They're still off to their best start in 20 years, but they need one more win to match that '87-'88 Celtics when they won six in a row to start the season. There's a pretty good chance that they might be able to beat that mark.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Mooooooonnnnn... but fuck this year has been hot and cold. Beat NJ and Chicago by 30, lose to Milwaukee by 30, what's the difference who's playing. It also makes any raptors message board a complete mess, people overreacting to each blowout. I really like how good the defense has been though, big big improvement over last year. Especially Bosh who's stats may be way down but I actually think he's playing as good as he ever has. Unfortunatley if he ends the year with 17/7 or something everyone will consider it a huge drop-off, when it really isn't. He's just concentrating on d and not carrying the load. Kapono on the other hand... Some worthy use of 6 mil a year.

That Heat/Knicks game must have been a thing of beauty to watch.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Quote: TEAM TURMOIL IN FULL EFFECT:
According to my sources:
On the way to phoenix, IT informed Marbs that he was benching him for mardy.
Marbs told IT he cant do that and that if he did, he had so much dirt on IT that it would ruin his career. They began to argue and it escalated into a full on brawl on the airplane. Marbury after it was broken up said he was outta here and said he was going back to NY (reason he is reportedly AWOL).
In addition, Rose has told people "he is tired of babysitting this team and wants out" Ah Knicks...never bored with you. But guess this could actually be a good thing. Not "Oden is out for a year - this could be a blessing in disguise" kind of good thing, but really good thing.

They may lose a road game in there, but they should go 4-1 if not win all five. 6-0 now. Sportscenter showed a graph detailing what happened to each Celtics team that got off to a great start. I forget what year the team was, but one team went 10-0 (best start ever for a Celtics team) and lost in the Eastern Conference finals. The '87-'88 Celtics went 7-0 and lost to the Lakers in the finals. Tomorrow's game should be very interesting and very fun to watch. Even though it's game seven on the year I'm expecting the Garden to be the closest thing to a playoff game (not including Wizards game) in quite sometime. The Nets had the night off though while the Celtics played in Indiana so they should be ready to go against them once again. The Celtics should be able to pull it out though because they're simply the better team.

They may lose a road game in there, but they should go 4-1 if not win all five. 7-0 Even without Vince Carter, if you hold the Nets to 69 points you're doing something right.
