I can't tell you how frustrating fucking fantasy football can be. I'm in this other $$ league and I was 1-3 and about to be 1-4. It seems like I'm facing demons on Monday night fucking games. Tonight, I had about a 30 point league against Ted Guin, Ronnie B and Jay Feely. Ted is doing shit till the NYJ D falls asleep and that eats up almost half my lead in one crap play. Then we get to the end of the game and I'm up by 3 and not wanting this crap to go into OT and Miami is at the 2 yard line. I'm begging for them to put in Pat White so he can run it up the middle but instead I get Ronnie Brown to fuck me over tonight. It was royale.

This is the type of game that makes me want to break my monitor or jump out the 3rd floor window or quit fantasy altogether.

Such. A. Joke.

A season changing trade is in the works! (Drew Brees and Brandon Jacobs) for (Frank Gore and Donald Driver)

I'm well stocked on runningbacks so I should be ok I think trading Frank. Brees with Eli backing up will be a nice

I'm sick of Jacobs getting me nothing. And I think I'm fine with Matt Ryan and a bunch of capable QBs on the free agent list.

Yes we can. And I did. Driver and Gore for Brees, I maybe could have lived with. But put Jacobs in it as well it is just a ridiculous trade - especially with Gore being injured.

Gore is recovering well and is scheduled to be back after the bye week this week. And if I was offered only Brees for Driver and Gore there is no way I would have considered the trade. Brees goes up against the Giants this week and with that pass rush they have he may get banged up. Jacobs has really under performed this year just like Steven Jackson has for me. Driver is just an average reciever this year too no real break out games yet. Everyone has the right to vote yea/nay but I don't think this trade locks up any wins for either of us. As you said Levy you have the most points scored but on "Any Given Sunday" it's failed to provide you with a winning record. Same can be said about me. I'd have a winning record if I would have started Ray Rice the last two weeks.

Brees and Jacobs would've both been sitting on my bench this week; Gore is scheduled to be back next week. I figured I could at least get something for two supporting players, especially since I can't cut either of them.

Brees and Jacobs might be sitting on your benches this week due to matchup problems, but a trade can't be evaluated just for the next week. He will be your main points man for the rest of the season and Jacobs is still very valuable since the Giants will be running when in the lead and Jacobs getting first shots at short and goal situations.
But that's just my opinion. If others think it is a fair trade, so be it. I won't complain.

Ugh, I guess you guys vetoed the trade. Oh well. I was just trying to spice things up a bit.

On a happier note, turns out I got a tie in my matchup last week! Not sure how that happened; I had already been charged with a loss.

Funny I wonder if anyone would have noticed if I hadn't annouced it as exciting and gamechanging on the thread. How many of you even notice the trades, pick up's, and drops on the yahoo page? There was a trade a couple of weeks ago that no one noticed. Oh well this could turn out to be a good thing! I'm calling it right now me and Trixter will play in the Superbowl
